Over the Hedge is a Great game for younger gamers and a decent game for grown ups!!!
I finally saw Over the Hedge today and feel like I've already seen it. That's because this game follows the storyline of the Over the Hedge movie 100%. That doesn't pose a problem for younger gamers who might not notice it, but for older gamers like myself it's kind of annoying.
The game itself is fun, easy, and straightforward. It's definitely aimed towards younger audiences but can be fun for older players as well.
Pros:
- Real Actor Voice Overs
- Very small learning curve
- Graphics are decent
- Go-Kart Mini Game is AWESOME!!!
Cons:
- Loses replay value pretty quickly (especially for older players)
- Game might be too easy
Final Verdict:
3/5
Rent or Buy?: If you have a young gamer this game will likely make you a hero in their eyes. If your gamer is older, go with something a little more mature.
