Pros:
<i>Vastly</i> improved instrumentals from Creed, it's like a new, heavier, and better band entirely.
Cons:
A few generic songs, they haven't had time to work out a few kinks.
Creed earned a lot of flak from critics over the years, especially with their final two albums. Despite this, their releases continually were topsellers at the end of the year. They were known for using the same formula in every song: verse, slow chorus, verse, regular chorus, bridge, chorus, end. Frontman Scott Stapp was definitely the creative leader, and he knew what sold. I wasn't surprised that they broke up, Stapp had been broiled in controversy and you could cut the tension in the band with a knife. What I never knew, however, was just how talented the other members of the band...
