I like how all the songs seem to be in sync. Song number 17, a tribute to "Biggie Smalls", Notorious BIG - featuring Mary J Blidge was by far my favorite, it was very soulful.
This album is a throwback to "PUFF DADDY," when he had the "IT FACTOR."

I Hope Lil' Kim Looks Good Naked - Because She Sure As Hell Can't Rap

Pros: I got a free coaster.
Cons: The stop button on my cd player.
Back in the day when the Notorious B.I.G. wrote Lil Kim s rhymes she was good. So good in fact that people were willing to look past the fact that she was half-naked all the time although for some it could quite possibly count as a fringe benefit. Then for some reason (some speculate silicon leakage) Kim traded in her talent and hunger for more commercialism and a cheap set of pasties. Track Listing 1. Lil Drummer Boy 2. Custom Made (Give It To You) 3. Who s Number One 4. Suck My D**k 5. Single Black Female 6. Revolution 7. How Many Licks 8. Notorious KIM 9. No Matter What They Say 10. She...

Pros: amusing choice of material to sing about
Cons: you figure it out.
I Love a woman who will tell me exactly what she wants Lil' Kim's latest album takes me back to the days of high school. Back in the late eighties/early nineties there was a big brouhaha about a group known as Two Live Crew. They were in trouble and banned in a few states due to their sexually explicit lyrics. As a high schooler, thinking this album was going to be banned, I had to have it, it was actually very hard to find. Then there was a First Amendment fight over this issue, and Two Live Crew actually ended up on top, and not just in the lyrics of their songs. Flash forward to 2000, here.

Ridiculous K.I.M.

Pros: I saw a badger beat down a bobcat for his food on PBS while trying to NOT kill myself while listening to this CD
Cons: I have heard GROWN WOMEN say that Kim is a role model and is someone who should be looked up to, after hearing this CD, she shouldn't be looked up to, she needs to be looked after.
Hello Lil Kim, You don't know me...PLEASE Kim! Don't take off your clothes! I am not here FOR THAT! I am here to perform at the very least, an intervention but if you keep acting up like you been for the past two or three years, I might have to call in Max Von Sydow for back up and go ahead and get the exorcism out the way. PLEASE Kim! Will you stop showing me what else you've dyed BLONDE??? Jeez Louisa May Alcott! AHEM! Now, I was compelled to stop you after I finished listening to your latest "effort" NOTORIOUS Kim. My God, woman! Sometimes it would be nice if life imitated art because at...

Wanna get laid? Wanna get paid? Goodness gracious....

Pros: Contains samples of songs you really liked; basic rap if you dig it.
Cons: shock value absent after the original HARDCORE; basic rap if you hate it; extremely profane
I don't exactly remember why I ordered Lil' Kim's HARDCORE (maybe it was to complete a BMG club member obligation....), but I had to put my headphones on the first time I played it in my apartment after letting it play loudly on the speakers for the first 40 seconds while mopping. From that moment on, I was shocked over the fact that there was a cd like this even made! Yeah there is porn everywhere and this is just another media type which makes it available. However, I was hooked and bought into Queen Bee 15-minutes of fame! "Big Momma Thang" was my song and I got down with "Not Tonight", ...

Notoriously Clever

Pros: Kim proves she can rap just as well as the guys.
Cons: Sex is her game, but sometimes it is too much!
Music listeners who are easily offended by talk of sex will want to wave crosses and run screaming from Lil' Kim's sohpomore album, "The Notorious K.I.M.", which relies HEAVILY on sex as the dominate theme in this solid effort from a talented young woman. She first shocked fans when she emerged, at age eighteen no less, with "Hard Core" her first cd where she shocked listeners with her frank discussions about sex and money. She does no less here, only this time she is more explicit in her lyrics and has the success of her first cd to discuss here. As with most rap albums today, there is a...
