Not only was I able to see the amazing and talented Rowan Atkinson in his first role on TV but you can see Mr.Bean forming in his mind as well as the Police Officer from Thin Blue Line in his earliest form. The other cast members are equally talented and form such amazing characters in their own right, but only one would I see in later work on Whose Line. Overall this was amazing and I only regret that this was the Best, I would love to see more, even the so so.
Extremely entertaining and funny. If you're a fan of British comedy you will truly enjoy this early work by the cast who have all gone on to be recognized in many other things. A gift to my husband (big fan of Rowan Atkinson) and he was very happy with this DVD.

Lame Brit 70's satire

Pros: Early Rowan Atkinson
Cons: Not very funny
The 'best' of a BBC comedy series - Rowan Atkinson, Pamela Stephenson and others. Rather lame, and some skits require a detailed knowledge of British TV (and specifically going back to the 70's and before...) Mildy amusing: 'the 2 Ronnies' with a frenetic song incorporating immature Brit obsession with body parts humor; a sketch in which a movie about Jesus Christ is treated as sacriligious to the Monty Python deities .. and not much else. Give this one a miss.
