Nokia 6102 (AT&T)

Out of all the Nokia phones I have seen, this one is by far my FAVORITE! I have worked for Cingular for a long time now, and this one caught my eye.

First off, its not really a super-high-tech phone, so anyone can use it. Very simple menus, and nothing to complicated. It has a nice Camera AND Camcorder which can be handy from time to time. Battery life and reception is very good.

Now, the regular Nokia 6102 is actually discontinued, so make sure to get the Nokia 6102i, because that version has Bluetooth, and Bluetooth is a MUST HAVE for any phone nowadays. So make sure if you buy this phone, to get the 6102i.

The only dislike on this phone, is the feel to it. It is very light phone (Which I like) but it feels very 'plastic-like'. Granted it is a durable phone, there are more durable phones out there.

Overall, if your not tech savvy, but want a nice phone at a great price, this is the phone for you!!

I love this phone so much that I had to get another. I am so used to its easy features that I just cant switch to a newer one. Its idiot proof, and so convienent with its features.

I have heard good things about this nokia phone, it's reliability and compact size are hard to find for this price.

Good Phone.

The phone is really handy and has a camera for use. We love Nokia phones. Seller is a fair and honest dealer.

I like the fact that the phone worked perfectly for about a week after I got it. I was able to customize it and make calls with no problems. After that week, I suspect because this one is used, it began to do strange things. The outer screen began to flip the image and clock. The inside screen went blank and would come back and go away. The phone's mic won't pick up every time you call or receive a call. I've never had a problem with any other of my nokia phones, but I think it is because this phone is a used one and may have been dropped a few times that it is a problem. I still think nokia makes the most reliable phones, this one, however does have problems.

I just love my phone!! It picks up everywhere!! I used to have one just like it--- but I dropped it & it broke! I got a great phone at a great price!

I bought this phone because I had a damaged one that I could transfer the card from. we have had good luck with these phones.

Got this as my kids first cell, but realized it was just about better than my old Nokia. Putting it in a case can cause the camera hole/lense to be partically covered depending on how much your case slides around when open. If you have a good SIM card, just buy a used cell on eBay and slap it in there, but make sure it's provider-specific or unlocked. Accessories can be dirt-cheap for older cells online.

I liked the phone because it was in good shape like he said, but it was not a I it was a A model. Now the better part the wife loves the phone. That makes me happy.

I bought it because I owned the same phone, a truck ran it over. It would cost me 4 or 5 times as much to by directly from AT&T. A brand new phone at a fraction of the cost.

I like that it is a flip phone, it has an easy to use (but small & low resolution) camera. It is very utilitarian. If you just want a phone, this is a good one. I have had problems, however, with the screen randomly going white, requiring me to turn it off and then turn it back on. Some of the features aren't real intuitive to access ether, but overall it is a good basic phone.

this is a good basic no frills phone that has most of the bells and whistles but won't cost an arm and a leg. the screen is a little too small, making surfing the internet impractacle. although if you want to check the weather or your stocks, its doable. dh

I bought the Nokia phone a week ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. This phone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that this particular phone was a bit more used than it was decribed, but overall it works fine. I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

average- I had to return this product because of a clicking sound when opening and closing, a sign it will break completely in a matter of time. I was refunded the purchase immediately and went on to buy another phone from a different ebay seller.

Having nearly 40 years in the electronics field, I am quite particular about the performance of any personal device -- especially something used every day like a cell-phone! In addition, having had a car-phone account in our name since the mid-70s, I'm particularly sensitive to the basic operations and any operational difficulties, such as poor-sound, dropped calls, etc. In addition to half-a-dozen different models of Nokias, I've owned Motorola, Samsung, LG and several other brands. Nokia is ALWAYS my manufacturer of choice for many reasons: availability of a super Customer-support system; with software downloads, on-demand videos for device familiarity, information on ancillary equipment such as data-cables -- I use my cell-phone as my personal organizer -- and of course, basic ease-of-operation. In addition to a great phone, the 6102i, equipped with Bluetooth, Infrared and Cable connectivity includes built-in: FM radio, camera and an exceptionally-handy organizer. Although I have not yet dropped the 6102i, its ancestors have consistently proven themselves quite capable of handling even my most forgetful abuse. I'll include my long-term experience in a future review.

The phone works good it just looks more worn than I would have liked. I'm was looking for a good deal and got an OK deal.

i received the phone with security code lock on. when i asked the previous owner what the code was, i got a "try this" and "try that" then an "i dont know, i'll call you back" still cannot use the phone

The Nokia 6102 is a great overall phone. It has radio, VGA camera, and much more features. It has great customization options and feel great in the hand. The bad things about it are that the graphics could be better, and the screen could be brighter. Also, the camera screen is really small, other phones fill up the whole screen. Other than that It's a great phone to have. Look at the Nokia 6102i for added bluetooth.

Pros: Looks Great, Amazing Features.

Cons: Graphics aren't that good, screen could be brighter, camera screen is small. No Bluetooth.

You can't even imagine the hell i put this phone through-i spilled beer on it numerous times, dropped, thrown, left under extreme heat. I even completely submerged it into water to clean it from the beer incident. This thing may be a little older, but if your phone always breaks, you can't go wrong with this!
