I bought this phone because mine broke and I like its small size and features. The only drawback is if it gets moist or damp the speakerphone does not work.
I like the fact that it is easy to plug in when needing to be charged, any Nokia charger will work (usually). Some of the car chargers have been a little harder to get the charging started. I love the fact that you have one button for each number. And that the reception of this phone is usually pretty clear. The one thing that I dislike about the phone is that the screen is very hard to read when you are outdoors. I bought it on E-bay because you can no longer get this phone at the phone stores. All you can get are the ones with lots of things that I do not need. All I need in a phone is to make a phone call.
I love everything about my phone. It got stolen again so now I do not have it, but I loved my phone very much for the 2 weeks I had it. I decided to buy it because my phone just like it got stolen from my locker at work. I recommend this seller to anyone.
I bought it because of the price was very fair and I need a phone to just dial out not any extra fancy "stuff" on it. Also it is very small durable and can fit in my pocket better than a flip phone. I volumn could be better
I have had two of these phones. Both were of the right size and weight, but they did not recieve service and had lots of problems. Cause me to buy a completely different brand of phone.
-small (I like small things, so this is a plus) -easy to use -reliable -holds a charge for a longer period of time. -sturdy (considering how many times I have dropped it on hard surfaces). The list goes on and on. :)
Cons
-no camera -polyphonic ringtones only -only triband. It should be quad band.
If you're not looking for a lot of fancy features, this is a good basic phone. I tend to drop things a lot, and this one seems to handle all the wear and tear pretty well. However, the silver paint chips off if it gets rubbed a lot (like getting carried in your pocket.)
I dropped my Nokia 3120 outside and did not find it for two weeks. It was during the heat of summer and for half the day it was in direct sunlight. There were two big thunderstorms during that time also. It was face down in a sandwich type case. When I found it, I opened it and let it carefully air dry while the battery charged. I put the SIM card from by back up phone into it, and viola, it worked. That was six months ago. It still works. My back up, which is a Sony Ericsson T-237 which I also like, is still just that. A back up.
I needed to replace my cell phone. I wanted what I had before -- a basic phone. Cingular was no help, but I found a perfect replacement on ebay. My Nokia 3120 works great.
I bought this phone for my mom. I had already owned one, so knew I liked the product. I am always weary about buying online, lest the product not be what was advertised, etc. But, this phone arrived safely, in great condition and as described. Thanks.
Not loaded with ALL the latest bells and whistles, none-the-less, a reliable phone that looks good and is a solid performer. Easy to personalize using a data cable (found on Ebay) and free software from Nokia. Also very easy to unlock!
A solid performer; this phone is simple, functional easy to the point of addiction. There are many phones to pick from today, that make the Nokia 3120 appear as a wall-flower. However, if you need a solid performer that is easy to use, the Nokia 3120 is a true leader. Navigation through any set-up is simple. It is feature-rich in terms of what a cell-phone is made for. I have no fewer than 3 phones at any time and the 3120 seems to be the phone by which I gauge the others. I personally keep a 3120 as a back-up when I don't want to use my PDA in a severe or unfriendly environment. As I travel internationally, and I am asked for a loaner by others who travel, the 3120 always comes back with compliments. I have given no less than 5 away as gifts. There are 2 options I use; a silicon skin & a little connector converter so I can use a standard head-set. If you need the latest & greatest, this phone is not for you. If you need a good performing phone, locate a 3120.
NOT TOO BIG, NOT TOO SMALL, JUST RIGHT. GREAT SOUND AND THE BATTERY LAST A LONG TIME AFTER CHARGING. ONE OF THE BEST LITTLE NOKIA PHONES THAT I HAVE EVER HAD. WAS NOT REALLY SURE THAT I WOULD LIKE IT SINCE IT WAS NOT A FLIP PHONE, BUT I WAS WRONG. I LOVE IT!! YOU WILL LOVE IT ALSO.
I have yet to find a way to adjust the volume of the phone. Not the ring volume, but the person-on-the-other-end volume. That's my only discouragement with it.
Its very small and light, good battery life, not to expensive and the display screen is very bright but not bright enough to hurt the eyes. It is just right and i personally feel it is a great buy.
This phone has a bright display, plenty of features, VERY (VERY VERY VERY) durable, can take tons of wear and tear, affordable, small.
The only downsides are that dust gets behind the screen, requiring you to take off the back and clean it, but this happens with most phones. Also, the buttons are a little bit too small for easy text messaging and other tasks that involve using the buttons a lot.
Absolutely unbelievable product, service and price. I thought I had to choose a new model phone when my old Nokia died...not so! The seller had many of my exact model and brand spankin' new! I'm so happy....wish I knew about them a long time ago! Thank you.
I bought this phone as a replacement for my sister. The seller did a great job on discribing this used Nokia phone I purchased.I tohught The price was fair and shipping cost was reasonable compared to other phones that were be sold. I would purchase again from this seller if the oppurtunity arises again.
This phone will last beyond many others. I have dropped it from 1 story high in my local bookstore and it hit the hard floor and broke into as many pieces as it could and when I put it back together it still worked. This phone has been dropped, thrown, and gotten wet in my pocket and still works great! Great reception even when others have no bars, it has never dropped a call because of service on my end, and it is a great size. The only thing I do not like about the phone is that it does not take photos. Overall the best phone I have ever owned!
This is the second time I have had this phone. I had to relinquish my first phone when I upgraded to DSL at home and moved my wireless service into a group package deal. In the line of work that I’m in, having a camera is not allowed on site. I’ve had a few Non-Camera phones and this is by far The Best.
