This CD is great. Dido has one of the most beautiful voices out there. The music is fantastic. This a great sit in front of a fireplace with a girlfriend/boyfriend with glasses of wine and mellow out recording. Can't honestly pinpoint one favorite song, they're all phenomenal. I recommend you buy this CD if you haven't already. A+++++
PRICE WAS VERY FAIR. SELLER SEEMED HONEST WHEN LOOKING AT HIS FEEDBACK LOVE DIDO AND ALWAYS WANTED THIS CD THANKS TO AN AWESOME SELLER I GOT 1 WILDEVIBE
I bought the item because my mother likes Dido. I have listened to some of her music and I find it pretty good and especially love her song White Flag. She is a remarkable singer and I encourage anyone to listen to her music.
Dido is reminiscent of the vocals of Sinead O'Connor but on this CD she sings of love, relationships and lust. Her vocals are as ethereal as O’Connor’s while the subject matter on this CD is so much more pleasant and easy to listen to without the heady, contemplative, political lyric scrutiny that often is demanded by Sinead's work. Not to be misunderstood, with this CD you can melt into the music and relish the listening. "No Angel" is fulfilling on so many different levels and can be listened to time and time again
I love Dido, So I got the CD, and all the songs are greate. The description of the CD was exactly was the product looked like, the cd is in really good condition. It was a greate bougth for me.
This was not the best cd but it did have one or two good songs. If you do like Dido's music then you will love this cd, but if you have never heard of her or do not like her music this is not the cd for you.
First let me say that I am a huge Dido fan. It is rare anymore that I even buy a CD because usually there are only 1 or 2 songs on them that are any good. EVERY song on this CD is GOOD! Dido has a very unique style and I love it!
My daughter was a dancer in college and belong to the "dancing troupe". They loved to prepare dances with Dido music and I fell in love with it. I love her voice and her most popular song is: THANK YOU. I always have it in the car. If you like ez listening, you'll love this!
I've contacted this seller, and was assured that the CD would be sent out the next week after two weeks had already gone by. Again, its been another 2 weeks. Ridiculous!
I like voice and style in which Dido sings. Her voice is so distinct. What I notoriously like is her lyrics because she always sounds as she is in love. I'd love to have my sweetheart speak to me the same way that Dido does
The harmonious way that the lyrics play out with each song tells a story. Some are soft while others take a more upbeat approach in order to convey the idea of the song. The title track tells of how a person is not perfect but that is no for them not to try to achieve their goals. Often I found myself listening to it at work. It is very soothing to the mind and soul.

Pros: Some likeable ambient trip-hop sounds, the opening trio of songs is decent.
Cons: Overly placid and sung without a hint of emotion.
Dido Florian Cloud de Bounevialle Armstrong Gould (yes, that is her real name) is a British singer-songwriter who first rose to fame after Eminem sampled her track Thank You on his massive hit Stan . (She also appeared in the music video as the titular character s long-suffering girlfriend). The success of that song proved the springboard for her to conquer the charts, and her debut album No Angel reigned supreme as the top-selling UK album of 2001 (and with an estimated 13.5 million copies sold worldwide). Like many prominent British female artists of the previous few years, Dido dabbles...

Dido's No Angel--Warning: This Album Contains MSG!!

Pros: Soothing confection of sugar sweet
Cons: No substance whatsoever
At first listen, Dido s No Angel is a slightly subversive thrill ride into the dangers of subliminal seduction. The music is soothing, and vaguely intoxicating. Time flies and you are unaware of the clock. You feel somewhat drawn into another world, as if under the spell of an anaesthetic. My Medical Advice: Listen to this record with someone else (you can trust) nearby to pull you out of your mental fugue. Wake Up! A Half-Hour Later You re Still Hungry Dido s No Angel exists in a vacuum of self-absorption. The music is flighty flirty Euro pop; a syrupy, confectionery sugar overload for the...

Dido: Sarah Mclachlan on auto pilot!

Pros: Nice voice, some interesting production
Cons: Bland, borrows to much from other artists.
Dido has finally arrived on the scene thanks to a clever sample from Eminem and mass exposure to his single "Stan". Right now I can't think of any other singer who has been made a star by being sampled but this seems to be the case. So the big question is "Would she have been a star without his assistance?" Honestly, I don't think so. Her music doesn't really stand out, her voice is void of emotion and her style is kind of bland. Her sound is kind of like what Sarah Mclachlan would be on autopilot. Her music has that whimsical quality without the whimsy. The first track on the album begins...

Pros: Yeah, some
Cons: Mostly
I am self-avowedly a fan of rock and roll. I love punk, I adore grunge (or whatever the hell you want to call it), alt-rock got me through most of the 90 s, and there s nothing quite as good as some good ole fashioned blues. I can even stomach folk, and small select doses of country and metal. So why, I hear you clamour, am I reviewing Dido s debut No Angel? Good question. I also like pop in small doses, and Dido really hit the spot mid-way through the past year when I was in need of some pretty straightforward pop music. Besides, to call Dido pop rather sullies the poor woman, who is a cut...

A Voice Like An Angel

Pros: great songs
Cons: some are strange
I bought this CD for the song titled Thank You but the other songs pleasantly surprised me. 1.Here With Me- This song is so very sad, Dido sounds so pitiful and determined. I would hate to be in the person s shoes that the song is about. This song is painful to listen to it brings back all of the old hurts and wrongs from years past. I had a love once that made me feel like this, his name was Michael. He left this world eight years ago. I loved him so much. I didn t hear you leave I won t go, I won t sleep I can t breath Until you are resting her with me 2. Hunter- This sound is about the...
