Nintendo Wii - Game console

I am a 46 year old mom and the Wii I purchased after waiting in line at Target overnight is for me ... LOL
I love my Wii and I think it is the best gift I have ever received. My daughter and I played all last night and the stress from the holidays is now desolved.
I highly suggest your purchase and the time it will encourage you to spend with your family. Beware of addiction and happy faces.

Very unique video game console. It really draws you in and you remember how fun games are. Very interactive and lots of fun to play with others. I've very happy with it!

Even though people say there are not a lot of games... people are mistaken.... the reason to have a wii is to get up and move not to have the best graphics... i applaud nintendo for getting people up and moving vs siting all day.

We are 40 year old, "non-gamers". We thought it would be fun to try the Wii. It hooks up easily and within minutes, we were playing Brunswick Bowling.Easy to operate controls and just plain fun for all ages.

the Wii is an excellent next gen gaming console, but once you see the controls you may feel a little uneasy about whether you'll even be able to play this console if you buy it. there has been a lot of talk about the Wii and how Nintendo's decision on using a remote for a gaming controller was a bad idea, but after just 20 minutes you'll feel natural with this gaming style. the controls look weird and difficult but actually fit right into your hands and make several games easier to play that were difficult or even impossible for other consoles such as the xbox360. theres a speaker built into the controller as well as rumble so you can be pulled deeper into the game and have an even greater gaming experience leaving you never wanting to put the controls down. the graphics are excellent and able to compete with the xbox360 but when it comes to the Wii's "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" the scenery, graphics and feel of the game easily beat any game for the ps3. with every game for the Wii supporting full surround sound, HDTV, widescreen, regular and projection televisions youll be sure no matter what you've got the Wii will support it and wont be left behind in the technological race of gaming consoles. other excellent features of the Wii include its ultra slim compact design guaranteeing you'll have room in any entertainment setup with your television. the support for SD cards so you can put all of your pictures from your camera onto your console. fully functional web browsing and email so you can easily communicate with all of your friends who have Wii's or any other electronic device. wifi and ethernet support so no matter where your Wii is or what your network setup is you can easily get online at all times. the Wii also is fully backwards compatible with all gamecube games and the "virtual console" part of the Wii will allow you to play all the old Nintendo titles as well as other gaming companies titles from today back thru to 1984 or earlier! The Mii feature in the Wii will allow you to create a copy of yourself inside the console so you can see yourself in the game as you play and feel more apart of the game, story, and all the action. for adults and everyone interested in whats going on in society the Wii easily allows you to see the weather in any part of the world as well as the news. it does this by having a link to the weather right on the main menu as well as a link for news; no need to dig through the internet anymore to try to figure out the latest happenings anywhere. some of the Wii's flaws though are that it cant play DVD's[though it doesnt matter since 99% of people who buy a Wii already have a DVD player] and that it doesnt support voice chat, yet. another flaw is that it continues to be sold out as Nintendo can't seem to produce enough Wii's for all the people who want Wii's where as the xbox360 and ps3 are always on shelves and readily available since they don't seem to hold as great a popularity as the Wii. another disappointment for some gamers is that the Wii supports broadband internet connections only so people who have dial-up wont be able to play online with the Wii with their internet connection. all in all the Wii is an excellent gaming console that i would highly recommend over the ps3 but as for the 360 i'd suggest considering what types of games you prefer before choosing between the two. [last: the Wii is alot cheaper and doesnt require as much ventilation as other consoles do and never overheats.]

I have never played this before and when my daughter was given this I was amazed how easy it is to use. What a work out too. I highly recommend this to anyone for any ages.

I Love the video game, the shipping took longer than expected, but its all fine now! We bought it because we could not find one at the stores, so this was very conveinient for us.

This is a great game system. It gets you off your butt and puts you right in the game. I like it! You can play tennis, golf, boxing, and so many other things. The extra remote and nunchuck is a must have!. Once you see how fun it is you will want to play everyone that comes over. This is a great system for kids of all ages and adults that will always be young at heart! It was worth all 17 hours in the cold. Have fun & happy gaming!

I returned my Wii because I felt I did not understand that I would only receive one controller. The seller was very understanding and paid me my payment except for the delivery charges.

We are fans of the original Nintendo and wanted something new and exciting. It is priced nicely and has so many options for games and activities. Love the interaction with the WIImote and that we can download old Nintendo, Sega, Super Nintendo games. That is a fun addition. We have the classic controller, so it is almost like we are playing the old Nintendo system. Good job Nintendo!

Love it!!! We had the whole family over and it was a great time! I would recomend buying a WII in a minute. I grew up with simple games and this is definitely something everyone could enjoy.

Love how it got to my home quick. It surprise me how fast got here with in a few days. I bough this item for one reason. I am a gamer the Wii has to be one of the best and hardest to find console at the time. I am glad to find this wonderful seller when I did.

Everything it is advertised to be. I would recommend to anyone! THis is the best video game system I have ever played. It hooks up to your wireless internet connection and alows you to play your friends across the country.

What I dislike about this transaction, is that this console and instructions manual, is all in Japanese. My son can not play this game or read the manual. I would not have bought this if I had known that this is all in Japanese. It is mostly my fault, I should have asked quested the Japanese Wii.
