Nintendo GameCube has been a terrific addition to our son's gaming collection. Purchased 2 years ago for Christmas, we've added to our collection of controllers and games over time and this is still the favorite.

The system is terrific for younger children, because Nintendo offers so many choices of games rated E for everyone. The Mario Party games are great for single or multi-player fun and the other Mario games, including Mario Kart Double Dash and the new Mario Baseball are loads of fun for all ages.

The game system itself is fairly easily to understand and set up and the controllers are easy to use and also comfortable for small hands to hold. Seperate wireless controllers can be purchased to allow players to sit farther away from the game than a wired controller offers. Memory cards can be easily used to save games and keep your player on their favorite level.

The price of the system is considerably less than others, and while the graphics are not on the same level as the Xbox or PS2, we have yet to hear a complaint from the kids who have been playing our system. With all the accessories that are available to use with this system like the video screen, gameboy player and additional controllers and memory cards, this system will provide lots of playtime for years to come.

I brought this system because I enjoy playing video games. However the buyer is no longer and ebay buyer. It was in great shape and it took a while to get to me. I am happy with the system it is alot of fun. I would say that enough it's and older system i am having lots of fun with all the games i have. I would say just do what makes you happy.

Here is why you need to buy a gamecube. Is it Nintendo's newest gaming system, no...but with games like Metroid Prime, Mario Cart, Mario Baseball, Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario, and Mario Tennis, you can't go wrong. For $150 you can have a Gamecube and all of the mentioned games if you buy off Ebay and Half. Game On!!!

I love about it is, I didn't have to pay "NEW" price for the cube. It works just as well as a new one. Great way to save money, and give the kids good stuff.

One of the best consoles ever created which unfortunately died a premature death due to a lack of sufficent advertising and software support to keep it alive in the retail world. As with previous Nintendo consoles it was a rock solid piece of hardware. Why? It's a system that's great for children and offers plenty of games for the adult crowd. It's very easy to pick up and play and the controller is very intuitive and comfortable to hold. It features a fantastic processor capable of fast load times and phenonemal graphical capabilities. It wasn't seen that often because multiplatforming is king but when you did in titles like Eternal Darkness and Resident Evil I was floored by the realism and attention to detail. As far as I'm concerned, many Gamecube titles hold their own against most current-gen software. If you want an inexpensive but quality gaming system designed for one thing and does it well you owe yourself an opportunity to try a system that flew under many people's radar or and didn't have a chance in the retail mainstream. Have fun!

i just received the gamecube today. nintendo has an excellent product. i will continue buying nintendo products. they have been a great product since the original one came out in the 80's.

The Nintendo GameCube (GCN) is a great console with many good games. While many consider the GCN inferior to the PS2, the GCN has it's share of good games. The GCN is a great console to play party games with children and adults of any age. There are games that are simple as Super Monkey Ball to games that have incredible graphics and is challenging as Resident Evil 4. The GCN also has the famous Super Smash Bros. Melee, which has one of the biggest gaming communities in the world. The only down side to the GCN is that it lacks in graphics when compared to the PS2 or the Xbox. Another reason not to buy the GCN is because the Nintendo Wii can play GCN games and is more ideal. If one is only interested in playing GCN games and is not interested in the Wii games, the GCN is cheaper most of time and is a good console to own.
