Every movie-lover is entitled to one or two guilty pleasures. And, no, I don t mean the triple-X variety of guilty pleasure that s another issue all together. I m talking about the kind of guilty pleasure that comes from having a weak spot for a B-grade movie that you know rationally is not particularly good, but which you nevertheless enjoy more than you really should. For me, this is that movie! My guilty pleasure. Nightmaster, directed by Mark Joffe, is one of Nicole Kidman s earliest movies, from a time when her reputation, if it existed at all, did not extend past the shores of Australia.
