Nextel I860 (Nextel Communications)

First of all I am a former Nextel Sales manager and have owned almost every single phone that Nextel has offered. I write my review based on MY experience while using the product. I change phones constantly and due my own modifications.
Nextel's true first camera phone turned out to be great from the beginning. Though the picture quality was that of less than 1 megapixel, using your pic as a wallpaper worked fine. Battery life of course was sacrificed due to the large internal and external color display. This phone also have 100 times more memory than any of its predescessors. I enjoyed loading my mp3 ringtones, wave ringtones, pics and 3g movies.

Get the i880.This phone is large and very outdated. It sounds bad, the screen is not very sharp. By all means the 880 triumphs iver this.

The product is very complete and I am running smoothly I recommend the i860 which has what is necessary for a person who likes what's new. tkns

I bought this phone to replace my old one that I enjoyed very much. The pictures are clear and I did not have any problems with it.

it was just as described. i needed a new cell phone and i wanted a new nextel so i could use direct connect and this one was perfect and in mint condition for me. i also love that it came in like no time. i am loving my phone especially the clear camera.

This was a replacement for the same model phone....my son is rough on phones, so I decided to buy a used one & save money. We were thrilled! This phone was even better than advertised, looks like brand new & is exactly what my son wanted. The camera & extra features all worked perfectly.

out of all chirp/ppt/dc phones by motorola i can safly say through street and data experience the i860 for your money will be greatly appriciated. it is a tough phone with no internal problems that can mess up your downlads. compared to other nextel/boost i870/i875/i890/i920/i922/i930 most these phones are unnessary with a 66% chance of phone end up becoming defective due to internal problems and not a damn thing you can due to your saved downloads because in order to fix is new parts wich means a loss n head-ake on your part. so overall enjoy i860. change case color if dont like ; ) better than changing phones ;0

Well i clearly bought it fot the price but when i got the item i thought it would be in horrible shape, but i was wrong besides a little cosmetic damage it was exactly as i ordered, the phone worked great. and i changed out the bad parts. My girlfriend absolutly loved it. And that is what counts. Thank You

The purchase was very very misleading. The cell was not what was up to par like was written on ebay. I was very disappointed when it arrived.

I like the phone because it was a good phone in good working condition and I was looking for a mother board for my project that,I was putting together by use parts That is a nextel i860.Great phone.

The i860 has to be one of the best serviceable phones left for us old folks that can't see so well.
The sceen is large. (note old guy can't see)
Buttons could be larger but still working for me.
Nextel PTT can't be beat. (no not the new hybrid phone)
The only negative thing I can say is that the finish is easly scratched. It would have been nice if they'd used the same quality housing of the i700.

Note I live in a cottage with 12 inch concrete walls, I have never had a droped call or DC.

I am glad that i purchased the phone. I have not had any problems with my phone, everything that it said it would do, it has done, and i think that it will last for quite some time. So thank you for a great purchase.

I bought the i860 because my friends had it and it was a very good phone. I dislike the fact that its been very static

i got the phone while i was in california and when i received it the package was brocken that was poor packaging
and i send the email to the seller and his response was i should of got insurance i thought that was bs
and i told him that the phone walkie talkie did not work and the star is was bigger than it was described and he said nothing, that it was in the description.
i would never deal with this seller again.
because i still have this broken phone and not using it

he sent me a defective phone, i sent it back to him and he has never responded or refunded it or sent me a good phone . he has an arab name and he must be a terrorist. all muslims arn't terrorist, but all terrorist have been muslims. this is the first time i.ve been ripped off by an ebay person. i have a right mind to report him to homeland security for further investigation.

i like the whole phone in general had it b4 n got broken so i liked the phone alot so i bought another one. Like the fact it has automatic open n a camera n video camera.. Disliked nothing about it!

I DON'T LIKE THAT SELLERS ARE CHARING A LEFT LEG AND ARM FOR THINGS THAT ARE SMALL AND DON'T WEIGHT THAT MUCH.

I likes the way it looked from the picture and he say that it was a vert nice phone. I like the i860 and so dose my kids....I didn't like about the phone is he didn't tell me everything that was wrong with it. nextel didn't have the code I couldn't use the phonebut I findly got the code to work. Hope that dosen't happen again......the for be there.....demonize713......

I BROUGHT THE PHONE BECAUSE I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE THESE DAYS FOR A DECENT PRICE. I FIGURED I'LL LOOK ON EBAY AND SHE HOW MUCH IT WAS PRICED FOR AND TO MY DELIGHT IT WAS $130 DOLLARS COMPARED TO THE $200 DOLLARS IN STORES.THE PHONE WORKS GREAT THE ONLY THING WRONG WAS THE EXTERNAL LCD WINDOW WAS CRACKED BUT THAT WAS IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION BEFORE I BROUGHT IT SO I KNEW WHAT I WAS GETTING IN TO.AFTER THE PURCHASE I TOOK THE PHONE TO A NEXTEL STORE AND THEY CHARGED ME 15 DOLLARS TO FIX IT. SO ALL TOGETHER 145 DOLLARS GOT ME A NEW NEXTEL 860 AND I PAID WAY LESS THAN THE EXPECTED 200.IN SHORT EBAY IS A BUYERS AND SELLERS HEAVEN JUST BE CAREFULL ON WHAT YOU BUY.

First i never recived this product soo i can't leave any feadback.I try to comunicate several times with the seller but i got no responde.

I still have not recived my orde that i have ordered months ago. I would like to know i can get it or have a refund. I have been waiting for a very long time so i'm getting imapacient because i have been waiting . So please give me my order that i have bought or i would like my full refund.

The nextel i860 is an old style phone, but works and looks just like some of the newer phones. I recomend the i860 to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive phone. The phone i recieved is in excellent condition and works and looks great.

VERY NICE PHONE. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD SONGS AND RING TONES. GREAT COLORS AND LOVE THE BUTTON TO OPEN THE PHONE. GREAT SPEAKER AND GREAT LOOK. VERY GOOD LOOKING PHONE.
