Magazines: the sword and knight. They're full of ads, boys, and crap "musicians." But I was bored, so I whipped out a Teen People. Some new artists, mostly emo, but then I see a red-haired girl in a green background. I say to myself, "Don't get your hopes up, there aren't that many chick rockers that reside in the pages of Teen People." Her name is Sarah Hudson. Her name sounds so familiar but I can't pinpoint what it is. It's obvious she's part of the new "punk rock" trend (i.e. pseudo-punk; they think Avril started the chick rocker movement and don't know who Kathleen Hanna is), but if it's.

NAKED TRUTH is the debut effort by up-and-coming "rock" singer Sarah Hudson. I put rock in parentheses because this isn't really rock music. It's the same glossy rock tinged pop music that's so big right now. So what does Sarah Hudson bring new to the table? Absolutely nothing. This album isn't much unlike an Avril album or a Pink album. Hudson tries to play the rebel outcast but it feels a little forced. The album starts with the obviously autobiographical "Naked Truth." Over acoustic guitars Hudson sings about having tatoos and kissing a girl on Ecstasy. The mild pop/rock production is...
