This game is way too addictive. I find myself playing 4-5 games every time I turn it on (2 min. quarters). The gameplay is very fast and intense. Also, it's always fun to tackle the opposing team 2-3 times after the play is dead.
Poor gameplay. I was very dissappointed. I remember this game being very different. I could be thinking of BLITZ 2000. Yeah, that's probably it. Buy BLITZ 2000. You'll be a lot happier than I was.
This game is sweet! i used to own this game back in middle school but i cold it and now i have decided to buy it again. i bought it cuz it looked fun and i like football.
so... my friends Jared Froeber and Eric Hansen both got Blitz and both love it... i never hang out with both these people normally at the same time at my house... but i decided for them to have a face off because they both thought they were THE GREATEST BLITZ PLAYER EVER. anyways... they played a bunch of games of Blitz together and Eric Hansen won only one of them i think... i was surprised because Eric Hansen has these super motor skills that make him good at ANYTHING he touches... so... Eric Hansen is standing up and yelling at the screen and everything... but its not doing anything to his score and we are all laughing... Jared Froeber ended up beating him 111 to 56. Eric Hansen needs to get better at Blitz.

Pros: Gameplay,replay value
Cons: graphics
After searching through all my games for a game I could write about for Rock_On's Sport's write-off I happened upon this classic. This game is not the type of football you see on tv this game is an innovative arcade smash mouth football game. In fact on the back on the box in big red letters it says "NO REFS. NO RULES. NO MERCY. To tell you the truth I didn't really know what to expect when I purchased this game it was sort of a blind purchase. I went out to Toys'R'Us and saw this game. After looking at the cover of Kordell Stewart I was like what the hell lets go for it. This was really my...

Pros: Moderately good graphics
Cons: Too easy gets old fast
The game cheats to put it bluntly. No matter how hard you try to win and score more points there is a special computer assist mode that prevents you from beating your opponent (computer or friend) by more then 10-15 points. The graphics are choppy, by that I mean the game skips frames and does not flow smoothly, also it tends to jump or skip when you make a quick movement so you do not know which direction to run in when trying to navigate yourself around a defender. When it comes down to it, the game gets too old too fast. It is more of a WWF wrestling game than anything else. The computer...

Pros: Good Graphics, Fun to Play, Easy Controls
Cons: Same Boring Old Stadium
About a year or two ago, when NFL Blitz first came out, I thought, "Not another one of those stupid football games." Even though I am a huge football fan, there haven't been that many good football games. I bought his game and I found out that this game wasn't half-bad. It was actually pretty good. After playing for awhile, I realized what made this game better than all the rest. It was fast-paced, not like those Madden games where you have to take 15 seconds to choose from hundreds of plays. In this game there are onl a few plays you can do and they are easy to access. And best of all, you...

HATED IT

Pros: Any skill level players can compete with each other
Cons: No strategy involved. Computer Assist. Rumble Pack flaws
I remember going to an arcade and totally being knocked out of my shoes with an awesome hard hitting adrenaline-packed NFL Blitz. I must have spent my entire $5 on this 15 cents per play game. I didn't get to play the game for months until I saw that it had come out for the N64. I didn't have an N64 so I bought one along with NFL Blitz. This game was ugly! There is no strategy involved and I can barely call it a football game, wrestling is more like it. Anybody can play this game, no skill needed. If you are winning, then the computer compensates and makes it impossible for you to score any...

Hi! My name is a very good one, but unfortunately I cannot tell you it. I live in the great state of New Jersey. Yeah - New Jersey!! I am writing this article on exactly what the title says. I am writing this article on NFL Blitze. This is probably one of the most fun games that I have ever played. This game is also one of the most screwed up games. It is screwed up because there are no referees to call penalties oon you for cheating. This game also has killer plays DUDE The reason why this game is fun is because of the fact that it has no referees. That is all I have to say about this great..
