Music and Lyrics (2007, DVD)

This movie has a very nice story with a very happy ending. Lots of laughs, memories of the 1980's and romance. The movie's cast are all very good in their roles. I highly suggest you see this movie. Also the band America has a fantastic song during the ending credits. Sweet!

I love Drew Barrymore. But this movie was boring. I thought she and Hugh Grant were an unrealistic match. He is way too old for her.

Drew Barrymore is one of my favorite actresses. I saw this movie on netflix and it was really awesome! This is probably my favorite movie of Hugh Grant's.

I loved the story line. The cast was fabulous. The muic old & new was catchy. I find myself singing around the house,It was not offensive. Well okay the Teen Queen was offensive. I love for clean language and mildsex tension. No wild and crazy stuff. I liked this It was a feel good movie that left me feeling happy. It seemed to lighten my loud a bit.Great. Music and Lyrics is ranks among the elite of romantic comedy films. Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore have just the right chemistry to make this movie what it is, near perfect. Grant plays down and out musician Alex Fletcher who had a huge hit in the 80's with his band POP! but has experienced a downturn of luck since. Barrymore plays Sophie Fisher. Sophie is a quirky replacement to Alex's usual plant lady, but she quickly becomes roped into a role as a lyricist to help Alex write a new hit song. The two have totally conflicting personalities and the sparks start to fly. From beginning to end this movie is laugh your heart out funny and plenty romantic. The music is extremely entertaining and the actors are totally charming. There is so little not to like about Music and Lyrics that it's an absolute must-watch/must-own for just about anybody. Don't miss this one!
