As a musician, it is always refreshing to hear new ideas and creative playing. It is great to hear in this album, as in many others, how Bona explores different timbres and sounds using the voice, his bass and the world around.
In comparison to other bass players, Bona's style plays so much more with the instrumentalists around him. His talent is such that when a different voice is in the foreground, his bass can play a completely supportive role, but when he is in the fore, Bona can be as melodic as any.
