I've used this phone for the past 2 years. The important thing to make sure is that the phone has the most updated firmware. This can be done for free by going to any alltel store. Since my firmware upgrade, I haven't had any problems with the phone, and the features are awesome. This phone has really grown on me.

By far, the V710 is my favorite cell phone for its reliability of undropped calls, durablity, analog or digital, mp3 features, bluetooth, and camera features. The Razor is thinner, however, but it does not have the analog/digital nor mp3 capability. I have had a dozen V710's for 3 telephone numbers and have been quite satisfied.
RECEPTION
The reception is clear with few dropped calls. The speaker phone works extremely well and does not have that background tone like other cellulars.
MP3, PICTURE AND TEXT TRANSFERRING
My favorite function. I use the bluetooth and mobile phone tools to download songs, pictures, and texts directly from my computer.
CAMERA and VIDEO FUNCTION
The camera is fine in daylight and indoors. Night camera-taking, even with the flash, needs a lot to be desired. The video function is a cute feature to be used as well indoors or daylight.
CONS
The circuitry cover needs to be protected as it needs to be cleaned and kept dirt free; if not, after 3-5 months, charger problems begin.
OVERALL
It's a great feature-packed phone that I will continue to use for business and personal use.

I HAD TO RETURN THE PHONE AND STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. MY REASON BECAUSE THE 1ST MOTOROLA THAT WAS SENT TO ME THE VOLUME DID NOT WORK SO I SENT THAT BACK TO GET ANOTHER ONE THAT CAN NOT HOLD A BATTERY CHARGE.I LET THE PHONE CHARGE UP OVERNIGHT SO IT CAN BE FULL. AS SOON THAT I CALLED MY WIRELESS CARRIER THE PHONE SAYS THAT IT NEED TO BE CHARGED. I WAS ONLY ON THAT PHONE FOR 10 MINUTES IT WAS FULL WHEN I CALLED THEM. SO I SENT BACK THE 2ND MOTOROLA 2 WEEKS AGO AND STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND.THE SELLERS WHICH IS NDCELLULAR IS ANNOYING ME ABOUT THIS MATTER. I RETURNED BACK THERE PRODUCT AND NOW I WANT MY MONEY. This phone has great features but still has some drawbacks. 1. battery life is not very long. I use my phone 3to 4 time a day at about 2 minutes per call and battery is dead and that is wiht the new extendlife battery. 2. All the hype about being able to link it to your computer unless you know exacly what to by it will not work, I order 5 cables and software before finally getting the right one.
Over all I think it was nothing more than a waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They sent me a phone that was really scratched up. The camera was so scratched that you couldn't see the picture when you had taken it. So after several e-mails back and forth(not always polite on their end. They sent me a different phone same brand and everything. Now this phone can't even be charged. The battery won't stay in so I have now paid for a phone that is garbage. I received an e-mail after telling them that I was again not happy to give them my phone number. I wrote my phone number on the first e-mail and then I called them and told them on the answering machine what my number was. I still to this day have heard nothing from the company. I still have a phone that is no good. I would never buy from this company again. This was my very first ebay purchase and I am really not a happy person about it.

Motorola V710 - AlltelExcellent phone for the price. It is easy to use and navigate through the menus and the bluetooth works fine. Not all the bells and whistles of the newer phones, but it does everything that I need to do quite well.

i bought the phone cause it was cheaper and said that it worked ya it worked till the battery died the phone didnt charge so the phone was junk at first thought it was the battery so seller sent me a new battery but the same thing happend so i asked if he could replace the phone and never got a reply so now i have a phone that doesnt work

The first cell phone I received looked like it had been dropped many times with scratches and dents over the entire phone. The camera lens was even scratched. The ad indicated it was a Alltel phone but the outside of the phone listed Verizon.
I returned the phone and received another used phone which was also in poor condition but not as bad as the other.
Let the buyer beware.

I love this phone, I had one just like it that got destroyed due to my horse biting it. (she took it out of my pocket) This model has way better reception than the pentech I had. I live out in the country and have areas where reception can be a problem

Don't BuyI had this phone for 49 days and it went DEAD..... The seller told me it had a 45 day warranty.. This was supposed to be a NEW phone.. you would think it would last longer than that..

I was wanting to upgrade my cellphone and my husband phone was in bad shape and didn't work all the time. So i bought one for him and he really liked his and mine i liked it got all the phone # put in and took several photo with it and had it for a week went to make a call and the screen was black. So i wasn't very happy after spending money to get it and mine guit and my husband has no problem with his. So I had to purchase another phone.

The phone was a little worn, but it works great, and my husband needed it without a contract. He burned his last phone with a weld spark. He is not afraid to take this one on the job, because of it's use. Quality phone, just has a little wear.

This phone has been really hard to setup and use. I have had problems with it turning to the silencing position and do not have a ringer. So I miss many calls. I cannot get it to setup in the voice calling. It is just a hard one to use. I will not purchase this phone again and would not advise anyone else to purchase. I bought it in the first place because my other phone was broken and not time to renew my contract.

Cell Phone/Love itCell phone is excellant shape and hooked up with Alltel was a snap. Didn't have to sign a 2 yr contract with Alltel to set it up. Very happy with phone.
