Motorola RAZR V3c also PINK version (Verizon Wireless)

This review is for the Motorola V3c and the Motorola V3c PINK both for the Verizon Wireless network. This phone packs VCAST, Get It Now, a built in 1.3 megapixel digital camera, camcorder with MPEG4 video playback, and Bluetooth wireless technology, it’s the ultimate in high speed EVDO, and high tech. With the precision-cut keypad, minimalist styling and metal finish, the V3 looks just as beautiful as it performs.

This is an excellent looking phone. The main difference between the two models is that the PINK model is well… pink. Surprised I know. It has a lot of bells and whistles, but it does the job and does it well. The Keypad is well laid out and has large etched buttons; those worried about fat fingering numbers will welcome this. Another stand out feature of this phone is the Intenna. Basically the antenna is built into the case nothing extending out. The plus side is that the phone looks and feels great. The trade off is that you lose about a half bar of signal strength. Another downside is that with these first generation models, Motorola decided to take away the ability to add additional memory by eliminating the transflash port, those into the media player thing will disappointed. It’s a sleek and thin phone, great primary or backup phone if you lost your main phone or it was stolen.

I have had this phone for 2 months and it works great! It looks cool! I love the light pink color. Other features I love is the speakerphone, the matching pink Bluetooth headset and downloadable ringtones. My boyfriend got the gray one. We both love our razrs.

  Motorola MotoRazr V3 (Lavender)
Review created: 07/18/08(updated 07/18/08)

Sturdy, large screen I can read, big buttons, easy menus, loud capability and vibrate at same time. Battery life is not long- maybe 2 days full using. Good sound quality, others said sounded clear. I decided to but it as a treat to myself and I love it, glad I did. It lays flat, not flimsy at all like the older models yes light weight still.

  MotoRazr great for girls
Review created: 01/13/08

What I love about the Razr:
-It's slim and easily fits anywhere
-The phone with the COOLEST cases
-Great sound
-Loud enough (if you can't hear it then you need a hearing aid)
What I don't like:
-The price for it is sometimes overpriced
I decided to buy this phone for its style and support, it works great for everyday use. DON'T BUY IT FOR A BUSISSNESS PHONE! THIS IS NOT WHAT IT WORKS BEST FOR!
I would suggest this phone for girls because boys can get confused with phones, and well, this phone is more girl style. [Depending on color]
Although, may I suggest that if you have Sprint Nextel, you are going to be paying a LOT for it. Try finding a discount somewhere for it! (Good luck, it's worth EVERY penny)
One thing I LOVE about this phone is that it is the phone with the most faceplates. If you go to a place that sells phone faceplates... over 50% of the faceplates are Razr plates! I love the Chanel & Burberry ones. :-)
BUY THIS PHONE, EVERYONE THATS LOOKING FOR A STYLIN' NEW PHONE TO LOVE!

  Dump Blond Phone
Review created: 05/10/07
by:
1 of 2 people found this review helpful.

I pay 400 bucks 2 weeks ago to get this phone thinking this would be the coolest. Right now is May 10, 2007 For 400 bucks, I expected it to connect with my computer, and do some kind of sync actions!! Little do I know, this phone beside looking slim and cool. There is really no intelligence!! For 400 bucks at least, come with a CD. But nothing. Instead, if one would like to conenct with computer, should pay extra.

Unlike the blackberry has so many built in intelligence. This phone is simply dump! All it does is phone ring, pick up and answer. It does come with color screen, all kinds of fancy features. But anyone test it a little bit will know that the software inside Razr V3 is not well written and not easy to use.

The headset that I got stop working after only 2 weeks. I was very frustrated. There was no drop or any kind of misuse or heavy use. It just stop working. I can make it work by holding on to the connectors. I almost thinking about returning this phone. But don't want to waste my time. At least the basic are still working.

One more thing that I'm happy about beside the slim design is the speaker phone. It actually work well, and clear.

Another complain about this phone is when you are in vibrate mode, the vibrate very very "gentle". So sometimes you don't even know there is a call. Unlike blackberry or any other phone I had previously.

One more complain is that, too many buttons. You need to be a genius to figure out how to use this phone. Too complicated!

If I lost this phone, would I buy the same phone again? The answer is clearly NO! In conclusion, if you just want something very simple, pick up and talk, no need to connect to computer or do anything else. This will be a good choice. Other than that, this phone needs a lot of new updates in order to use properly! Also, this phone price too much. It doesn't have that value!

Great phone. I like the large screen, larger numbers. I don't like the way the phone book is set up - having all these listing for one person, instead of having one listing and then internal listing of cell or work numbers. I like that it fits into my back pocket with my noticing it is there. good speaker phone. loud ringtones so I can hear it ring in the other room.

  Motorola V3 Cell Phone
Review created: 03/07/07
0 of 1 people found this review helpful.

The Motorola V3 is an awesome cell phone! Why, because it is a good looking cell phone, a razor thin, smart looking cell phone which is very easy to use in every way. I find this cell phone very easy to work on, to make repairs to it is simple and information can be found about the phone everywhere on the internet. You can also change the phones case to just about any color you want once you are tired of the original color or just put a cover on top of it. Bottom line a great cell phone

The good: The Motorola Razr V3 has a striking design and comes with a worthy list of features including Bluetooth, a speakerphone, and world phone support.

The bad: Unfortunately, the Motorola Razr V3 supports only video playback, the controls take acclimation, and the call volume is a bit low.

The bottom line: The original thin phone, the Motorola Razr V3 has a sexy design and useful features, but its performance isn't always up to par.

  Flooded Razr v3

I have bought this phone for replacement LCD screen and keypad. I looked under the seller's description and from it follows that these parts of phone work well. And I have made a decision to buy it.Also from the description follows that the seller should send in current of 2 days after payments and also will send a tracking number.I have paid and have begun to wait.I waited week for tracking number anf for phone, but it was not.Whether I have begun worries and have sent to seller email that I'll complain to eBay.Then she has written to me that for a long time has sent and that it has forgotten the tracking number on work.Has told that will send but has not made because it had no it.Actually she has sent it next day after my e-mail and on packing there was no tracking number. When I have received phone I went to the repair shop and they have told to me the phone has been flooded.Behind the battery there is a round indicator of white color and if phone was in water it becomes red, the deceit for the insurance company therefore is not possible as to me have told .The rest not probably to check up because no buttons work. Only screen is on, but not any image. Therefore phone not probably to use on a part.

A great phone that has some of the features of a PDA. With the Mototools software the phone can be Sync'd with Outlook for your calender and contacts list. The phone then has all of your contacts and also your photos can be downloaded and the best is the rings. You can make your own rings by taking your own MP3s and using the editor to take any portion of the song to make your ring tones. No more buying ringtones! A great phone full of features.

  Just Awesome

I have had my Razor now for about a year and I just love it, and my Razor is my 6Th cell phone and it is by far my favorite. I love it's slim sleek style I can stick it right in front pocket of my jeans, and just forget it until it rings or vibrates, and it is a light weight phone. It also has a great camera that can take some really great crisp pictures. Also takes some nice short video's. Keeps a Great Signal, & long battery life. One of my favorite is being able to put picture I.D for people calling you that is just awesome that way you see a picture of the person who is calling just so cool then you can also give everyone there own ring tone. I saw where someone left a review saying these phones break easy well I have had mine now for about a year, and I have drop it a few times and on hard surface and it doesn't have a crack on it & no malfunctions of any kind it still works like it did when I bought it new. My whole family loves the Razor so much that they want me to up grade their phones on their B-Days to Razors. I know I love it so much that I am going to upgrade soon to the one with the MP3 player on it. I do say this is a phone I am glad I got and my money was well well spent on. I give it a rating of 5 out of 5.

This is one of the best cellphone I have had
Review created: 01/16/07

Pro: Small, sleek, nice design
Cons: A little had to use keypad, very easy to scratch

I got this phone from Verizon Wireless just after my contract ended. I loved the size of it and the screen was vibrant and much improvement over my old cell phone. I have not dropped nearly the same qty of calls with this new phone and I seem to get better reception than on my old phone. The only disadvantage is it is small so the flat keypad can be hard to use without looking and it is very sleek (ie slippery) so it can drop on occasion and scratch fairly easily. Overall, I love this phone and would recommend it.

Loud ringers, clear reception, loud volume and DURABLE. I have even ran mine thru the washing machine! (Inadvertently..but when it dried it was good as new.)

The ONLY and I mean ONLY thing I don't like is the low battery beep,,very annoying at 3 am every 2 minutes or so..I'm working on turning that feature OFF!!

  Bad Signal Strength

I recieved a razr for Christmas last year because I wanted the latest and greatest. But the razr isn't all it's hyped up to be. I feel that the signal strength isn't impressive at all. My boyfriend carries the same service provider but has an external antenna on his phone. I can sometimes hold them side by side and he has almost full service and I have almost NO service. It gets annoying. Other than that the features are very cool. I do like that the razr is slim, I carry it in the front pocket of my jeans and sometimes forget it's there. If I could go back, I would have never asked for a razr for Christmas.

  A PIECE OF CRAP
Review created: 11/02/06
0 of 2 people found this review helpful.

I have returned so far, 2 RAZR V3's to T-Mobile. I am on RAZR #3 now and it still continues to be plagued with the same problems as the other phones. Phone #1, impossible to hear the other person with any background noise, period. I have the volume maxed out to #7. The voice software recognition never dialed on the first voice command and kept telling me to "say the voice faster". I had to manually go through my phone list in order for the call to connect. "Tech" support told me to power off my phone and reboot. Yeah that didn't work either. You cannot hear the other person because the voice clarity and quality sucks and this was from 4 diferent phone calls placed to my RAZR V3. When entering either email addresses or phone numbers, the damn phone wants to enter characters than what I do not want. The speakerphone is crap also. Having spent hours with T-Mobile Motorola "specialists" I plan to switch back to a Nokia. I had a non-flip Nokia, which was virtually industructable and I am a contractor. I am on phone #3 from T-Mobile and am waiting to upgrade to another version of the RAZR. I am not the only person who is having this problem with the V3's, as the complaints to T-Mobile are increasing weekly. I never expected this from a company such as Motorola and they refuse to answer my emails even though I am a shareholder of MOT.

This is a great phone with lots of style. However, if you have ever dropped a cell phone at least once, this is not the phone for you. Just drop it one or two times, (depending what kind of surface)and you will be on the floor putting a Razr puzzle together. Until they come up with a Razr that has a retractable wire that can attach to my wrist, I will stick with a phone that can handle a little more roughness.
