Motorola MOTOKRZR K1

I love my KRZR. In fact, I fell in love with it before I bought it. One of the many hats I wear is that of a US Cellular Representative. I couldn't wait for this one to come in and I bought it right away when it did.

PROS:

It's definitely sleek. I liked the original RAZR when it came out but there was something holding me back from buying it. Although it was thin, it was a little too wide. The KRZR came out and it was sleek all around. I like the MP3 player that it has. The quality is much much than some of the others than claim to play MP3s. They actually sound like music, not just ringtone quality. Another feature I'm very fond of is the ability to insert an MiniSD card. With the card installed you can put photos, videos, & music on it inside of the phone's memory...making it easily transferable without software or cables. You can put the same memory card (with the use of the adapter that comes with it) in your digital camera or printer or any other device that accepts a standard SD Memory Card. The buttons on the front of phone enable you to operate your MP3 player options with the phone's cover down. The buttons are flat so they're not in the way, barely visible if you're not using them.

Cons:

There are a few. Some of the other reviewers were right about volume. It rings pretty loud but conversations are sometimes hard to hear if you're in a loud environment. I've had a little static with this phone at first, but it seems to be okay now. It must be a motorola thing, because I've seen other motorola phones do the same thing where as others have not.

US Cellular has a program called Easyedge (Each service should have their own program that is similiar) that allows you to download ringtones, wallpapers, check email, surf the web, get weather & news, and play games. If you enable this feature, this phone's capabilities increase tenfold. There are many people who prefer other phones, and they have a right to, but as for me...I couldn't be happier with this one!

I love everything about this phone, expandable memory, good camera, music player, it's all great. There is nothing about this phone that could be any better. Although it won't format my memory card, so I don't know if it's the phone or if it's the mini sd card.

I love the KRZR! It gets great reception, voices are clear. The manual is a bit vague though. Instructions are not explicit. It is a complicated phone, but has lots of great features. I ordered the red phone, but it is actually a cool hot pink!

Like the size, and availablity of accessories, which make it a good deal for the out of country use I have planned for this phone

Well, what can I say. This item caught my eye on ebay when I was looking for good quality razr phones. This phone is what I have been looking for. The price of the phone is very competitive but hard to find. I hope this seller will have the excellent customer service that I expect from him/her and will do more business in the future.

I guess that's about it until i receive the item in the mail, hopefully within the next couple of weeks the delivery service couriers aren't always reliable as I have had a few problems with that, but that's a story for another day.

The good: The Motorola Krzr K1 offers good call quality and comes with Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera, and a speakerphone.

The bad: The Motorola Krzr K1 lacks 3G support and external music controls.

The bottom line: Though the GSM Motorola Krzr K1 has a more attractive color scheme than the CDMA Krzr K1m, some feature differences make it mostly comparable with its sibling.

I LOVE MY NEW RED MOTOKRZR1 PHONE. I HAD A BLUE ONE FIRST AND WHEN I SAW THEY HAD A RED ONE, I HAD TO HAVE IT. I HAVE OWNED MAY MOTOROLA PHONES, BUT THIS ONE IS BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. RECEPTION IS GOOD, FEWER DROPPED CALLS AND THE EASY TO USE AND PROGRAM. I GIVE THIS CELL PHONE AN A++++++++++++++++

Got this MotoKrzr because of the 2mp camera, already had the MotoRazr V3XX and before that I had a regular GSM V3 razr, all on the Cingular/AT&T network.

I liked: The 2 megapixel camera, how it looked, the ability to load up to a 2gb micro SD card.

I didn't like: Slow key response, no 3G, can only record video in about 5 minute increments. Front display kinda small, loudest ringtones are not loud enough, the front of flip attracts fingerprints too easily (it's glass), no flash for the camera.

I now have a Samsung A707 and in my opinion it's far better than the above.

Phone has a nice "weighted" feel to it, not like some phones that feel like cheap plastic. Very easy to use and excellent sound quality.

I bought this phone to replace my RAZR which was a good phone also and I am fond of Morotola products so decided to give this one a shot. It is smaller than the RAZR but the basic features are identical. The MP3 player is good-has pretty decent sound for a small phone but the operational buttons on the front of the phone are very sensitive and if not careful, you change your music selections/fast forward/rewind. The picture quality is decent (I think that the clarity of the pictures isn't as good as the RAZR-maybe I need to adjust to it). Overall, it is a good phone and I am pretty happy with it!

This is a great cell phone it has all the bells and whistles, it is very compact and has good reception, I would recomend it to everyone.

This type of cell phone is very durable. Works great in low frequency areas. I had my KRZR K1 for about a year and I still can’t get over the look and feel of this cell phone. I have to get one for my son. If I would recommend a cell phone to anyone it would be the Motorola MOTOKRZR K1. I truest you all well feel the same.

The phone is working but it was used rough. I had to get a new battery since the battery with phone could not hold any charge more than one or two calls. The camera does not work and buyer did not mention it in the ad. I wasted the money!!!

This phone is crap. i got the fist one and there was static in the earpiece, and the keypad backlight quit after the first day. then i sent it back and got a different one and 2 of the buttons didnt work and the screen turned white and blurred the text. Do not buy a krzr.

bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

When I saw the add, I thought it was for a new phone. Had I known it was used, I would have never bought it. The phone is in good working condition, but it was advertised as new.

The phone looks really slim and stylish. It makes a great phone to carry around. However, the camera on the phone takes low quality pictures. Other features such as alarms and games are too basic. After all, it is a nice looking phone with only basic functions.

I think Motorola really made something amazing with the sleek and sexy "copy" of the RAZR. I remember there was a huge marketing hype when the RAZRs first came out and I was one of the few people that didn't join the bandwagon. Sure, it was fashionable, but other than that, it didn't really appeal to me--then came the KRZR. Wow, this thing is loaded for such a small, thin form factor! It has a 2 megapixel camera (more than you would ever need on a cell phone), a microSD slot for to store all of your music and pictures, and it's silver, almost like a mirror, body is so sexy and beautiful to look at. Definitely a great clamshell design phone for all of those looking to purchase it.

I've had this phone for over a year now and I question myself why I did. To start positively it feels alot more solid than the razr, it is very sleek and comfortable to talk on, there are very nice mp3 light up buttons on the front looks great and the volume control area is alot better than the razr, and the speaker is so crisp and amazing. Dislikes would be built in memory is pretty low, the screen size is fairly small(for a sleek phone understandable), the camera shutter noise doesn't have an off option and is extremely loud. As for the references with the razr is because people usually wonder whats so different about the two models. All and all this is a very nice phone to use but not for multimedia wise.
