Project Pat Mista Can t Rap and Ain t a Damn Thang Workin

Pros: A few catchy beats.
Cons: Project Pat has ZERO rapping ability, and spouts cliched gangsta rap themes.
Even ten years after its prime gangsta rap refuses to die, thanks in part to popular rappers like Project Pat. Pat, along with UGK, was featured on Three 6 Mafia s mega-hit Sippin' On Some Syrup and never looked back. After achieving some moderate success with 1999 s Ghetty Green, Project Pat returned to the rap game with 2001 s Mista Don t Play: Everythang s Working. As of March of 2001, this album was certified at Gold status by the RIAA, proving once and for all that in music, success is completely independent of talent. Tracklisting 1. Chickenhead feat. La Chat

Talent or no Talent

Pros: some good beats, catchy words
Cons: horrible rapper in all aspects, unoriginal
Project Pat can't rap. He can't rap, period, but he has some good beats and songs and for some reason I listen to this CD a lot. Before I go through every song, this needs to be explained. Him and his crew have NO lyrical talent whatsoever and they lack originality in any of their songs. This is very typical rap and him and some of his crew have an extremely slow flow. The sound of the drum in ALL their beats is a sound of a cheap drum. Lastly, they WASTE their time talking smack and all that stuff when really they don't back it up. As long as you can back it up by good lyrics, then talk all..
