Minolta Maxxum 300si Film Camera

i bought the same camera 10 years aga and it stopped working and the amount to get it fixed would have 5 times the amount that i paid for the same camera from you guys

Can do much better for less money. The unit is not as dependable as the Xi series. Weaker body and slow response.

I have one of these great cameras that I've had for years. However, I have used it so much, it was beginning to develop some small problems, and Minolta no longer services this camera. I was so excited to find one here on Ebay, and jumped at the chance to purchase it in hopes that it was in better shape than mine. Much to my delight, it was in MINT condition! My wife is the real photographer in the family and she was as pleased as I. This little camera is very dependable and is very easy to use. There is such a large selection of different lenses, it is hard to justify changing to another camera. We have used it to photograph the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Tombstone Arizona, Niagra Falls, New York City, the beaches of Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi, as well as numerous child-related events, photos for brochures of our business and so much more. It is unfortunate that Minolta no longer services or sells parts for this camera, but with so many of them out there, there will be a supply of cameras and parts for many years.

this is an older model camera built in the early 1990's but still performs well. this model actually has one feature that i have found to be very usefull. the built-in flash on this camera is stationary so no need to pull it up or put it down. it is just there ready to use whenever needed. minoltals metering system on there consumer cameras seems to me to be better than any other brand. so you can buy a lower end camera like this one and it will still give you a good exposure.this model is great for a novice who still wants to be able to add different lenses.

when I bought my 300si 11 years ago it cost $269.00 and I am still sold. My flash went bad and I bought a used one on ebay for a little of nothing and replaced the flash off it!!! Great camera! Love it!!!

Purchased the camera for a European trip. The camera work excellent for 5 days, then broke on my last day. Lost all of my pictures of that day. Took it to get repaired when returning to the US and was told the price to fix it would be $150.00. The pictures were excelllent....only problem camera was short lived.

I love the beautiful pictures the 300si takes, It's one of the older minolta cameras but it has some of the modern features that are in the newer slr cameras. Although the digital age has hit us,I still like taking pictures with the film slr. Minolta is one of my favorite cameras this is why i bought it.
