I admit I was prepared to hate the Xbox when it first launched because a) I loved my PlayStation 2 and b) I hated Microsoft. And then I played the Xbox...

I was really impressed by the graphics, the great games and the superior online experience. The general Xbox user interface just seemed better overall than that of the PlayStation. Online gaming on a console would never be the same, and yet I was disappointed that Microsoft in its first attempt at a gaming system could outdo Nintendo and Sony. The DVD and CD abilities are nice, too.

Are there any weak points for the Xbox? Yes. The system is bulky. If you are tight on space then a PlayStation 2 Slim might be a better choice for you. And unlike the PlayStation 2, you have to pay to play online in the Xbox Live environment. But beyond those flaws, you really have to stretch to find any chinks in Xbox armor. It is a solid machine.

There are some places that the PlayStation 2 beats the Xbox (see my PlayStation 2 guide here: http://search.reviews.ebay.com/?fvcs=1452&sopr=43557617&uaid=14111642&upvr=4), but I'd have to say the Xbox slightly beats out the PlayStation 2 overall. Curse you Bill Gates! ;)

Children were given DDR mat and game two years ago, never had XBox to play game, found XBox , extras and 7 games all in one package in great shape and a price that was in their budget ,finally they can dance to their hearts content. We are very happy with this transaction!

This was a purchase for my kids. They have really enjoy it and it was in excellent shape. It gives my kids the ability to play up to 4 kids on one game and we have 7 kids. The package was original so the kids thought is was brand new and never used before.

I chose to purchase an x box (instead of another system) because of the game quality, and the versatiity of the x box. I like the way i can play dvds and my favorite games (tetris and midnight club 3). I recommend he x box to anyone and everyone over those other sysems out there. Nothing beats microsoft!!!

this thing sucks. it is one of the worst consoles because you will like it at first but within a week u will get bored. the games are fun.....while they last! they are really short and easy. waste of my time. dont but this for your child!.....i regret it

It was a hacker deal... contacted seller, he explained the circumstance. I can't say anything about the product, I never received it or any response for awile

I like the console because my old one stopped working and the new system allowed me to keep the games instead of needing to buy new ones for an updated system. What I did not like is the seller. He quoted his shipping charges for fast shipping and then claimed to have messed up my address. Then he sent it out again with really really slow shipping. And I checked the package...it had never been sent out. So when I left negative feedback, he responded with the same. It annoys me because it is the only negative feedback I have ever had and it was left by some moronic thief. I have still not found any place on ebay to see what can be done about removing the feedback or warning others about that seller.

I liked the fact that even as a used XBox the pictures showed a machine very well taken care of. After all, how many of us still have the 'Original" boxes any of our equiptment came in? I decided to bid on this Microsoft XBox to add another console that a few of my son's friend's had but we didnt. We Now have 2, and they can all swap their games between the different systems.

This was the perfect gift for my second child. We found our older child would limit or interfere with our younger childs game play and this was the perfect resolution -- we had existing games that could be used and existing controllers.

As parents you can minimize the amount of time your children play Xbox but you can't eliminate it - this however did eliminate one of the tension areas between 2 siblings.

I like the fact that the unit came without two games that were supposed to be included. I like the fact that the game console did not work out of the box. I love the fact that the console came with no documentation. I really love the fact that this companies customer service does not answer their mails or voice messages. I love the fact that they leave feedback that is the farthest thing from the truth that one can get. I was given an opportunity to return for a refund, but do no trust this fly by night operation to actually issue a refund, so I am keeping the large, expensive paper weight. I really love the fact that E-Bay will do nothing about this seller due to the fact that they sell loads of stuff on E-Bay. Money talks and B!!!!!!! walks.

The Xbox is was in like -new condition. It has played well and the kids love it! The best part was the price. I saved money and still got just what they wanted for Christmas!

never received my item. Seller didn't answer most of my emails. Will never buy or recommend from this seller again. I'm out $200 and have no Christmas present because of this.

I wanted to buy this item for my kids. I never received it. I was delivered and stolen off of my porch. the post office informed me that if the seller paid one dollar more, someone would have to show ID and sign for the package. It instead was left on my doorstep. I knew something was wrong when I had not received it 2 weeks after the said shipping date. I tried numerous times to contact the seller and without any luck heard nothing in return. Finally when I was allowed to file a dispute she presented me with a tracking number, which I had been asking for, and the time and date it was delivered. I am now out an xbox 360 and 200.00 dollars which is not easy to come by as a college student. I will never do business with this particular seller again. I hope others are aware of the carelessness of not requiring a signature confirmation on such an expensive item. I would have gladly paid the extra shipping charges. My kids are now upset as you can imagine as i have no more money to dish out for an xbox as i am paying for the one i never received.

The xbox is kinda bulky but the performance of the xbox well makes up for the weight of the console. I had mine for about a 1 1/2 years. I never had a problem with my console. It worked without any flaws.xbox consoles were made very well and can with stand days of play without shutting the console off.The console comes with a harddrive to save your games on it! unlike ps2 you have to go buy these 30 dollar 8 mb cards(the xbox got room for saving tons of games and songs on it without buying a 300 dollars worth of memory cards for the ps2 to save all the games) The graphics were awesome on it. Halo and halo 2 were the top 2 selling games because the graphics were so advanced and that the fact that it was most popular game and still is after 2 years and ps2's graphics werent as advanced so halo and halo 2 was never a option for ps2. xbox comes with 4 optional controller ports unlike the ps2 with only 2(then u have to buy a multitap to have 4 players plus port 2 on the ps2).I was so impressed on the performance and quality of the product and went out and bought a xbox 360 when it came out and never had any problems with that. All in all the xbox console kinda heavy but the fact that it out performed sony's beloveded ps2 and has a built in harddrive to save songs and games saves you money in the long run compared to buying the ps2!

This system has done me no wrong. It has a 8 gb hard drive that you can put music on and if you mod it you can put a bigger one in it and make it be able to save dvd's on it. The games on the xbox are great forza halo and many others I have a ps2 and I don't even play it any more because of having this xbox. Xbox live is great play online with millions of other xbox player it is the most fun I have had playing video games since the arcade
