Remember 10 years ago buying a computer cost 3000 you got very little, today people question 400+ for the 360 give me a break
I found when first buying it, the weight of the xbox 360 surprisedly heavy, getting it up and running was simple,manual ya right, do not forget to remove the tape holding the dvd tray, DO NOT MOVE THE UNIT WITH A DVD RUNNING it will damage disk..
the graphics and sound on HD 5.1 is totally breathtaking, call of duty 2 you could feel the cold russian air, the tank battles in middle east crank up the sub woofer
watch out for the sand in your eyes,
Do you have a good quality HD screen , surround sound the price is cheap for the total entertainment you deserve
to this follow up . one year later. HD-DVD oh so cheap and sweet.. to buy the disks 20 bucks plus for the quality its worth to be part of the movie

Console and PC gamers have long been divided into two camps. Sure, there are those of us who play on multiple platforms, but hard-core PC gamers tend to be, well, hard-core PC gamers and eschew "mainstream" console games, while committed console gamers can sometimes be heard bashing PC gamers as elitist nerds. While there's nothing wrong with drawing your own distinction, what's clear--at least for the moment, anyway--is that Microsoft's Xbox 360 makes the line between PC and console gaming a lot fuzzier. Yes, this is a console, with game controllers and A/V cables that are designed to interface with your TV--preferably of the HD variety--but Microsoft has essentially packed a high-end PC gaming rig into a relatively small box that fits into any A/V rack or cabinet. That the Xbox 360 also has a user interface that rivals TiVo's in terms of slick presentation and ease of use, plus a host of digital media and networking features, helps elevate the already-good Xbox experience to a whole new level.
Naturally, the 360 is not without its flaws, and since many of the launch titles are simply rehashes of their PC or console counterparts, we'll have to wait another year or so before we get to see what game developers can truly accomplish. By then, Sony should be ready to counter with its next-gen powerhouse, the PlayStation 3. Whether it will be better is anybody's guess. But all we can say is that Sony better hurry because the Xbox 360 will be a hard temptation for gamers to resist for too long, even priced at $399.
Will the system be a serious contender in 6 months? Absolutely! Will it rule the online world? Without a doubt! Is it worth the online auction prices right now? NO WAY! If you are playing on a 19" TV that is not high-def and you are not hooked up for the internet high-speed, then you are wasting your money. If you have children under 12, the system isn't for them either....
When it is all said and done the Xbox 360 is definitely an improvement over the last system. I love being able to turn off and on the system from the controller and its great to see these high definition graphics in only the year 2005. Speaking of the system's early 2005 launch it was a wild success with Xbox 360 shortages reported everywhere and it even sold up in the thousands on online auction sites. It just goes to show you gamers wanted next generation even if the prices were outrageous. Because of this the future looks very bright for the 360. It's not all good news though. First off how are you going to tell your wife, girlfriend, (or both), husband, boyfriend (or both) that you are going to drop close to a thousand bucks just to get a new system with accessories and games? Another problem some may have is the new graphics are great here and everything, but some may not be impressed has others and what's the deal with the lack of full backward compatibles of all the original Xbox games? If you are unsure about the system (or you happen to live in Japan were everybody seems to hate it) it may be a good idea to wait and see what the Playstation3 and Nintendo Revolution have to offer first before you invest in the Xbox 360. The system is still off to a great start and it looks like the best is yet to come.

Xbox 360 ReviewI received the xbox and it worked alright for awhile. After about 32 days of use I got the red ring of death. The item isn't operating, and unfortunatly I didn't think to get the 6 month warranty offered. Just a note that you might want to pick that up as you never know what will happen. Refurbished units are a gamble, and I'd do the best you could to protect your investment.

WORST TRANSACTION EVER!!This seller is a liar!!!Do not beleive what their add says!Make sure you know what your getting before you buy.They say shipping is 2-5 days,its been 2 weeks and i still have not received my purchase.
They are not upfront about the warranty either,the ad says,add an 2 year warranty for only $15,they dont tell you that is for 2nd year only.The cost of a one year warranty is nowhere to be found on the ad,very misleading.READ FINE PRINT!!!
Overall,there is NO WAY i would buy from this seller ever again OR reccomend to ANYONE!!

Microsoft Xbox 360 Premium Edition SystemI love the graphics on the new Xbox 360, the ability to turn the console with the controller, that’s a big plus, been able to save all my music and chat with friends while I play a game.

I was trying to sell an xbox 360 using Ebay. I had mult bidders bidding on the item. Then at the last sec. someone "sniped the bid" and made a great offer, I saw that this person had postive feedback but then determined that it was positive feedback warning ebayers that this person doesn't pay. I tried contacting the other people who were bidding but they were no longer interested. Now I need to file a no pay claim with ebay and wait 5 days. And now my ebay account shows that ebay took a cut when the person hasnt even paid. You guys need to fix that system, don't take a % until it is confirmed paid. Or acctivate NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR BUYERS!!!!!

It is better to get this system on warranty at a video game store where you can yell and complain if it overheats. Getting this online means you don't know if you get one of those xbox 360's that overheat or not. the one I got I asked for a replacement, got it and it too kept getting the 3 rings of death and nonstop freezing. I ended up having to get a Gamestop 360 that worked, and tossing the older one.

Xbox 360The graphics on the xbox360 are very good and very easy to use. You don't have to have memory cards and you can do basically everything a computer can do along with a little more. My brother and I bought this system since we have gotten a new system in a while and heard great reviews about the xbox360.
