The 360 has a huge library, and the only console to play the best shooters on the market. Plus XBOX Live. Do you really think a company, even Sony, is going to knock Microsoft into the #2 spot when it comes to the internet. So if you want my pick on what console to buy, pick the 360. It out classes the PS3, and despite the Wii's current cool factor, it's actually behind the original XBOX in terms of raw computing power.

I own all of the 3rd generation gaming consoles (360, PS3, and Wii) and for games and online play, 360 is far superior, but when it comes to a well made product, 360 lacks in almost every area. They are poorly made and often overheat. Virtually every console will experience the 3 rings of death, just hope it happens within 3 years. I have fixed many myself and Microsofts design of the x-clamps and lack of proper cooling is a flaw they instead of admitting they made an error and doing a recall, they just extended the warranty for those errors. Returned consoles are only slightly better and can have the same error. Until the 360 is properly fixed by removing the x-clamps and re-clamping the board, you may continue to have problems. Red light XBox 360 are peice of crap and waste of money. Please do not buy them because fixing them cost as much as buying a new one and there is no guarantee it will work. Bottom line is that, invest in PS3 instead of buying crappy XBox 360 which fails quite often and Microsoft waranty is annoying and crook.

Great price at under $200. Included a game (soccer), two controllers (one wireless), all necessary cables and the much needed cooling fan. The DVD player seems to be quite an upgrade from the previous original XBOX. It plays standard DVDs. All of my 16x9 ratio widescreen DVDs are presented 100% better than they were on original XBOX.

The cooling fan is loud and distracting during quiet movies. That's the only part of the system I don't like.

I was satisfied overall with the console. At first I was a little leery of getting one online after our one at home started acting up and could not get it registered, but thought the price was too good to pass up. The only thing I did not like was the fact that it did not come with the hard drive. Either I did not read the "fine print" or they just did not include it. Other than that I am very happy with my ebay experience with this purchase.

The product that was shipped, first was poorly packaged (It was literally rolling around in the package and which was way too big for the product), it was not bundled very nicely and was missing the HD which was shown intact in the picture! It even said in the item description, that everything in the picture is 'exactly' what you get and that the seller takes full responsibility for all the items in this auction. Well, why after 4 emails being nice, but frustrated about this the seller quotes, "deal with it, thank you for your payment and have a nice day.." Are you freaking kidding me!!! Now, I want to just scream..I cannot believe people do this! This seller is rude and very inconsiderate once you pay, so just don't bid or anything for any of his products and maybe he will get the picture and fix this! i now have a system all to myself, i have a ps2 and a dreamcast yes thats right a dreamcast still but soon i will sell my ps2 for some extra cash cause i no longer play it anymore, I love the 360 i've played it at my friend's house my uncle has one and its a whole lot cheaper than a ps3 and the graphics are about the same. They also have some really good games coming out the for the 360 that interest me, like resident evil 5, darksiders, the incredible hulk etc. Oh yeah and ninja gaiden 2 thats looks really good, i still haven't played the first one though, but does the 360 even play xbox games? not really sure but none the less its my system thats why I decided to buy it for me, and take it with me when i leave home and get my own place.

paid for x-box 360, month and a half later, I still have not received it. Seller promised re-payment and never repaid. Be very careful.

When we won the xbox 360 on ebay, we thought we were getting one that needed to be fixed. The seller told us he sent us an xbox 360 in perfect working condition and for me to send him an extra $25.00. So I did, and he sent the xbox360 to us by mail. When we got the xbox360 it was stuck on DVD mode. So I emailed the seller and requested some advice on what to do with it or get my money back. I never heard from the seller again. I will never buy another thing from him again.

I love this console because with each game it provides great graphics with the excitement of feeling like you are right there in the action.With the purchase of a harddrive it put me right there with a normal Xbox 360.I own all the systems the playstatipn 2 and 3 Xbox and xbox 360.There are different things that I like about all the systems but the graphics are off the charts for the 360.There is not much that I didnt like about the system as long as you take care of the system it will take care of you.I decided to buy this system because I had a regular xbox and my friends was going own and own on how I should complete my gaming experience buy owning a xbox 360.So I brought the hard drive, the cooling fan to go alone with the system.I think the extra cooling fan is a must have too prolong your system life.So for all the true gamers an Xbox 360 is a must buy.

i played my 360 for about a month then i got the red ring of death thing. Microsoft said it would cost $140 to get it fixed. Now i have a PS3 and its awsome. DONT GET A 360!

One of the biggest questions in the video gaming world today is: Which is better? The Xbox 360 or the PS3? I own both, and I will let you know the low-down on them.

I will give you a few important aspects to both consoles:

Graphics: To tell you the truth, there is not much difference between the two graphics. Microsoft's ATI Graphics and Sony's Nvidia Graphics both match up to be about the same. Die-hard fans will always say that the system they love has better graphics, but after all of that technical nonsense, they are about the same.

Memory: The PS3 wins in this category. You can buy them in 20, 60, or 80GB models. The Xbox 360 Premium only has the choice of 20GB, but the Xbox Elite has 120GB.

Game Selection: Up until now, the Xbox is winning in this category. It has been out longer, which means a much larger variety of games. They also have games down to $20 and $30 because they have been out for awhile. The PS3 has games at $40+, but it does have some very unique games that you can only play on it. These include: MLB The Show, Haze, Jack & Daxter, and many others.

Look/Sound: I would have to say that the PS3 wins in this category as well. The shiny black with chrome trim looks amazing, while the Xbox is a mere white box. The PS3 also makes a lot less noise than the 360.

Controller: The Xbox wins by a longshot in this category. The controller for Xbox is a lot more comfortable and easy to use. You never get hand cramps, and it just feels normal to have it in your hand. The PS3 controller doesn't feel all that bad, but it is nowhere near the comfort of Xbox's controller.

Life: The PS3 wins this category. There have been rare problems with system failure. With the 360, there can be sever heating (the three red rings will happen), and your system won't work anymroe. Also, if your Xbox is tipped a little while in the verticle position, the game can be scratched to pieces. Believe me, I've had it happen.

Online: Although both are fun to play on, the Xbox is a far leader. Xbox Live is the most amazing online gaming service that I have ever seen. The messaging, freinds lists, videos, tv shows, demos, achievements and everything else are amazing. I've heard rumors about a PS3 home, however, and that it is supposed to be better than Live. I guess we will just have to wait and see.


So which system would I choose? To tell the truch, I like both. They're both packed with everything you need in a gaming system, and I'm sure you will have a blast with either of them. I would suggest getting the system that your friends have, so you can have fun playing with them online. Also, if you've had an Xbox before, don't be afraid to try out the PS3. That also means that if you've always had a Playstation, don't be afraid to switch over to Xbox.
