TO MUCH DEMO BEFORE THE ACYUAL GAME. WHEN GAME FINALLY DID START IT WAS VERY HARD AND TOUGH AT THE SAME TIME TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON INSIDE THE GAME. I CANT BELIEVE IT IS NOT A 2 PLAYER GAME EITHER, I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN IT OVERALL.

THIS GAME IS JUST AMAZING.... IT GETS BETTER AND BETTTER. ONLINE BETA IS PRETTY GOOD WILL EVENTUALLY BE AMAZING!! OVERALL ITS A FUN LONG GAME THAT YOU CAN ENJOY. I ALSO RECCOMEND GETTING THE STRAGEY GUIDE/BOOK TO FOLLOW ALONG... LOADS OF FUN!!!

skeptic at first, before playing but now a huge fanat first i wasnt interested at this game because of past MGS games too slow of gameplay but damn this game is sick, so sick i think it has a flu. well anyways this game and the movies in the game are so interesting that makes me want to watch the whole thing instead of fast forwarding it.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the PatriotsThis is the greatest game ever created in the history of electronic entertainment. It has a great story that ties up all the lose ends in the other games, and I really recommend that you have played all of the three other MGS games before purchasing this one or you will not understand the story.
A rating is unnecessary, this game has no reason to be rated... its a perfect score no matter how its calculated. The only bad thing about this game... is that it ends.

Am I crazy? Everyone loved this game but I hate it. As cinema type games go, this felt more cinema than game. Constantly seeing long boring videos/flashbacks that load slow and are not well executed.
I loved Bioshock as a similar "story driven" game but it's far more gripping, better graphics, and exciting - Metal Gear4 felt like going to work, drudgery. Some imagination but not on par with the competition. I found myself skipping almost everything towards the end and...not bothering to finish - it's going back on ebay for the rest of these...fans.
Don't waste 30 hours of your life on this piece of crap - just watch a mediocre Anime movie instead if you desire boring bad acting. Not to knock anime, AKIRA is the bomb, but this is no Akira. This sucks. Grand Theft Auto stomps this weak title into the ground. You should do the same.

Simply one of the best game for Playstation 3.Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is one of the best games I've played in my life. The depth, variety and diversity of this game is excellent. The graphics are the best on the PS3 so far and shows even more potential for this powerful system. Seriously buy this game now, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This game is awesome. The story is excellent, the gameplay is fun, and the graphics are sweet. The production values of this game are incredible, you know the designers spend a lot of time on this. Its definitely the best game on the PS3.
The multiplayer isnt that good when compared COD4, but your mainly getting this game for the single player.

This extensive postlude to an amazing series fills every void and leaves no stone unturned. The graphics are 10/10, really showing off the PS3's ability to create near life-like images and sounds. The gameplay is also 10/10, as you can do anything you would think possible in any situation. The controls flow and after a few hours, you can control snake as you would control yourself (if you could do what he does!) Overall 10/10. The ONLY dislike that I, and I mean the ONLY one, is that the cutscenes are very long. They're quality drama, but at the same time its very difficult to watch almost 45 minutes straight of cutscene in one case.

ITs action packed, its so realistic it scares me.
