This DVD is way more than a documentary about music. It's an explorative mission into the core of a culture and a way of life, like a whole different kind of people living in the underground of you and I.
The interviews are amazing and range from one extreme of "metal god" to another, but the really captivating part of the film is the way it puts metal in perspective for the average person. It brings out aspects of the music and the lifestyle that are somehow disregarded by most people, and it creates an idea of fellowship and a sort of patriotic loyalty for one of the kinds of music that changed the world.
What i dislike is that is short and you want more! but how he said is not simple fitting a long story in 90min worth of film! I bought it cause it cover the important theme of metal!!! I love the Black metal documentary!
I liked the way metal was presented in the movie. I loved all the guest appearences and the spot on norwegian metal. I disliked that it wasn't long enough. I decided to buy it because i friend turned me onto it and recomended it.
