I like them because they are small and fit in your hand very well, and they have very good talking power and range, I have owned a few w/t in my life but these are the best ever. I have been using CB radios sence the summer of 1959
I have used a lot of units over the years but the maxon HCB-10C I have to say is the best ever. I use them in my work and when on hunting trips in the woods
I have 4 of them that I use when hunting. All of my hunting pals like them also.
Try them...You will like them also...for sure

Item was advertised as new, but it was used.

Purchased two other units from other sellers that were as advertised and worked perfectly. This one was used and had no operating manual. It would not work with an external speaker/microphone.I left positive feedback and received same. In the future I will not do business with a new eBay seller especially with one out of five comments contained negative feedback.
