Cons
- A lot of Marvel characters either are not playable or M.I.A.
- Fighting can tend to be repetitive.
- Effects glitch towards higher levels. (Requires a system restart to fix. Happened several times.)

Comments
This is only the beginning of games involving the entire Marvel Universe. Real time strategy will keep even an RPG hater interested enough to play through. There are only about 5 real CGI cutscenes and they look amazing. One of the biggest disappointment may be no Hulk or Punisher as well as a lot of other characters who won't be included. But most people will have their hands full trying to decide who to pick for their team anyway so it may be for the better.

Must play for any fan of Marvel comics if not a must have title.

I love the old marvel comics and grew up with them as a kid. However im more into sports games, This is game is recommended for those who get into superhero games. Awesome game just not me!!

Fun to play with 20+ characters, but after a few hours I lost interest.The whole game is walk-hit-jump-block-repeat. Just a lot of button mashing and calamity going on. Even with powerups and unlocking, it still all comes down to w-h-j-b-r! That plus EVERY LEVEL kinda looks the same: drab, maze layouts. Not much in the way of free-exploring or finding secrets. U can destroy a lot of the environment, but nothing to gain from doing it. Nothing about this game screams 'Wow, Playstation 3 is awesome!'. I only bought it becuz I'm a Marvel Comics fan; otherwise if you are not, don't buy this game unless u get it for $20 or less. Better yet, just rent it.

I love the game. Best thing is that you can play with or without friends and they can hop in and out seemlessly. Great fun with lots of your favorite characters.

The graphics are great on a 1080p hdtv. The gameplay is great. At first it was a little hard to undertand, but once you get the hang of it, all goes up from there. I would have never bought it unless I seen it cheap on ebay. And now, I am actually happy I bought it. Really Great Game.

This game is really good game if you would like have some clean childhood fun. However the game becomes extremely repetitive. Basically 90% of the game, you just walk through some rooms, beat up a bunch of enemies, and continue on to the next room. You do this several times, before you can get to a boss. Then you repeat the whole process again and again, until you finish the game. My brother and I finished the game on normal difficulty in 3 days. (Hard difficulty is locked, until you finish on normal)

Positive
- Cut Scenes have excellent graphics
- Game play graphics are reasonable
- Create your own teams
- Play the story line in Co-Op
- Loading times are decent
- Choose the abilities you want to use and upgrade

Negative
- I can count the amount many people are playing online with my hands
- Online, is just playing the story line again, but with up to 4 real people on your team
- Fighting is really repetitive, cannot stress this enough.
- Has to save the Game twice, once for your position in the game, and then save again for all your items.

I love this game. It received good reviews and I am a big fan of the marvel universe so I purchased it. I love the gameplay and all the character options they give you, as well as the customizations. I wish they provided other playable characters such as Nightcrawler though

Marvel Alliance for PS3 is a great game that will be very difficult for you to put down.

+PROS: Amazing graphics in an HD display, I personally notice a huge difference from playing this game on other consoles. It also has a very good storyline that keeps you interested. Many playable characters from the start. One cool feature is how you can create a team (group) such as the XMen, Fantasic4, etc. Its like creating your own comic book dream team. You can mix any of your playable characters and give them their own logo and team name.

-CONS: There are certain points in the game where you have to use the motion sensor in the sixaxis controller, most of the time it is wayyyy too difficult to complete these tasks (so turn off this feature). The game almost seems too easy after the first couple hours of playing. On the "normal" level, I didnt die until 8 hours into the game (sometimes you just feel like your characters are invincible).

In the end, if you are into action/rpg games, this is a game you must try out. Especially for those who are comic book fans.

The graphics were the best ever for this franchise due to the current generation hardware. The game is so fulfilling and engaging that I played through it 2x. I played the two previous versions and thought this was the better one by far. The second installment at times had me lost as to what to do.

Great game to play alone or with a couple of friends. If you are a fan of Marvel comics, you will enjoy the selection of heroes available in this game. A+++
