Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects (PlayStation 2)

Game has a good degree of difficulty, however I beat it almost to 100%, including rewards in just a few days, replay value is on a scale of 1-10, maybe a 6. If you want to beat the crap out of your friends for a few hours its good, but as a single player game it can get old. It has some AI glitches and some cinematic quarks, but if you want an enjoyable game, I would rent first or buy off Ebay for cheap...not worth my $50 new.

This game brings many of the Marvel characters together in a game that complies many opportunities for winning or having to start over. The kids love that. Not anything bad to say about this game.

Once again i gain a new marvel game to my collection. Although this game is challenging when i began to play, it is really fun. And besides you i get to play as some of my favorite marvel characters.

This is an overall good game. I bought it when I got deployed out to Iraq. In route to, I had a layover at another base and played this game at one of the community centers. I got hooked on this game and ended up playing it for about 4 hours that day. However, I couldn't save my progress since my memory card was full, so I decided to buy the game. By the play of the game, it seems that you can somewhat choose the play order of the games by which missions you choose to complete. I also like the vast range of characters that you can play with, both good and bad. You may have one mission as The Thing and the very next, you become one of the "Imperfects" characters and have to fight him! My main dislikes about the game are that the battles take place all in the same scenes and the difficulty "range" of moves for the characters you play with. It seems that the computer has an ease and advantage of doing combos, counters, and moves with the characters than you can as the player. But I have yet beat the game....

This game has a sporadic storyline, i have given up on trying to follow it. The game content itself is very interesting in the area that 90% of the environment is usable/ destroyable. The graphics are fairly decent, and the sound is lacking. Most of the cutscenes are well done and the controls are slightly annoying, but easy to pick up. The only thing i REALLY have against this game is you start the game out following the storyline of 3 characters, then after their stories "end" you only have 1 character to play for the rest of the game...quite a let down since my fav char. Wolverine's story ends quite quickly and thats it for him through the entire game. This game has a VS. mode on it as well...a 3d "ring" type battle for you and a friend. Over all, this game is interesting to merit buying it at a cheap price, but not good enough to play it until the CD melts!

My sons (10 & 7) are really into the superheroes. They seemed to really enjoy it. It coincides with the Ultimate Alliance. The only thing is that it didn't hold their attention very long. Played for a couple of days straight then moved on to something else.

The fighting is really different from other fighting games and even though I don't love the language they use my children love this game.

My husband was trying all of the games that have superheros but he wanted to have them fight each other and also get some evil butt too!! Now I can not get him abnd my son away from it!

I like the different charcters and levels combing skills and powers !

I dont like the fact that the DISC, takes up to 5 mins to load upon starting... and when u finish a level and move on to the next !

I had heard GOOD things about the game, thats why I bought it... but now i wish i had gotten a NEW instead of USED !

The game works great in Vs. mode, but do not load in story mode when elektra and daredevil fight, almost in the begining of the game. I can't even unlock new characters, wich affect indirectly the versus mode.

I bought this game because my son wanted it. He loves Super Heroes. I was very surprised when we got it to hear the Super Heroes cussing. I do not understand why this has to be since Super Heroes have been around for years and kids love them, there is no need for a nasty mouth on the Heroes that our kids look up to and want to be like. Very disappointed in language.
