Martinis and Bikinis - Phillips, Sam (Singer) (CD 1994)

If you appreciate solid albums, with a full slate of well-written, well-produced songs then you'll love this. Sam was obviously influenced by the Beatles. The melodies and orchestration are very reminiscent of Beatles songs and there is an excellent array of song topics and sound variety. Nowadays it seems so many bands put out a full album of songs that all sound alike. Not this one. Listen to the album twice and you will be hooked! There are only a few classic albums in my opinion and this is one of them. I cannot believe this wasn't a bigger hit.
