Martina McBride came to Nashville in 1990 before she got her recording contract. She even spent time selling t-shirts for Garth Brooks. Since then she has sold ten million albums and had 6 number one hits. She has an eleven year career and released her eighth studio album in October 2003. It is simply titled Martina. Martina McBride is also a spokeswoman for victims of domestic violence. She seems like such a down to earth person that uses the gift that God gave her to the fullest. When it comes to Martina McBride there is one fact that can t be denied. This pint size woman can sing like no other and on this album that fact remains crystal clear. This album sounds amazing but if it has one flaw it lies with the lyrics. On some of the songs including the recent hit This One s For The Girls and the God-awful God s Will the lyrics are pretty questionable in maturity level. There are specific examples for those who are interested later. Her voice is in its usual top form though and the music to most of the songs is really well done. So Magical 5/5 is a really nice upbeat...
