This VHS was better than I expected (I didn't think the picture quality would be so high), and I was already expecting something good! The music is brilliant, and the accompanying videos very engaging and full of narrative and symbols. The live footage is exciting and often hilarious.
If you're a Manson fan already, or want to know more about his approach to music and art, definitely check this out. It's not the sort of music video collection that you can just leave on in the background - it's so visually rich that it nearly demands to be closely watched. You'll get more out of it each time you see it.
If you are lucky enough to find this, please do yourself a favor and snatch it up. The video starts with every Marilyn Manson music video newest to oldest (First is Coma White, keep in mind this is old), after the vids, it is raw uncut live performances and interviews.
When I was thirteen, I literally watched this so many times the tape wore thin and snapped.
I decided to buy "God is in the TV" because I wanted to see the videos. and they are Beautiful! I could not complain about anthing except the censorship in a few videos. everything else about it made me c*** in my pa**s!
