The CD is awesome, The seller is awesome..Will definetly buy from again. This is some of Carey's finset music and this CD can be listened to for hours..
Mariah Carey has got to have the powerful voice in music. This girl can sing at the top of her game. This album just proves it. With hits like Vision of Love, I Don't Wanna Cry, and I Need You you won't be dissappointed. Her range is just unbeleivable. 9 of 10
I love this Mariah Carey CD; it was before she went pop when she was nothing but raw singing talent. Her range is amazing and she shows it off dynamically on this CD. Great!
Only bought it for the song Vision of Love. It was worth what I paid for the one song. Haven't heard her sing it in years. Better than anything she's done since.
iloove this cd from back in the days it bring me back to my ealy days in myteenage days this cd i can listen to over & over again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mariah Carey Follows The Michael Bolton Tutorial On How To Make An Album

Pros: Vocals, Vision Of Love
Cons: Adult Contemporary Anyone?
Let s start from the beginning shall we? The year was 1990, we were coming out of big hair bands and ugly clothes and we needed some change. Then comes along Mariah Carey with a five-octave voice capable of making you sit up and listen when she sang. Then there was that song - Vision Of Love . Carey wrapped her voice around that song and sang it like no one will ever be able to replicate. She did things with her voice that no one was doing at the time or had ever really heard and people adored her. Her debut album simply entitled Mariah Carey was equally impressive as her first single. A...

Mariah Carey's Debut: The First (And Still The Best) Vision

Pros: A solid album from beginning to end with fun uptempos and dreamy ballads.
Cons: Mariah raps??!?!
When Mariah Carey stepped onto the scene in the summer of 1990, a lot of people saw her as the second coming of Whitney Houston. On the surface, the two had a lot in common. They were both fresh-scrubbed (at the time) young ladies, they both had a thing for big, melodramatic ballads, they both had voices overflowing with melismatic showiness. But while Whitney's debut album was stiff, overprocessed and WAY OVERSUNG, Mariah's first record has a more charming, "real" flavor. While Whitney sounded like a robot pounding you over the head with power-singing, Mariah sounded like a human being...

Amazing Voice.... Shame about the Songs.

Pros: Stunning vocals. A couple of good ballads and dance songs.
Cons: Insipid lyrics, cliche-ridden production. Could do with stronger melodic hooks.
Nicknamed The Voice , Mariah Carey experienced a meteoric rise to fame during the nineties. Famed for her incredible power, range and colossal super-high notes, Mariah is a deserving recipient of a diva crown, and this debut release managed to set a standard for all following adult-contemporary artists. I have to confess that I wasn t too optimistic going into this album; having only been acquainted with Mariah's later releases, much-publicised nervous breakdown a few years ago, and seeming aversion to clothing. However, the Mariah presented on this record is vastly different; she s painted...
