great buy
Great sound! Definitely outshines my high end hd-dvd player on cd sound. I don't know what an audiophile would say, but in my system I have been reaching for cd's that have been on the shelf for a while. The sound engulfs my room with clarity I have never heard before, and definition that makes you feel you are listening to a live musical performance. Was looking at Marantz because they have the reputation of building great sounding players without breaking your bank account. Goood deal and great sound.
P.S. upgrade to a more high end cable, well worth the money.
