This is destined to be considered one of the greatest rock albums of all time. Perhaps Bruce's best album since Born to Run. It's one beautiful song after another. The E Street Band never sounded better. The standard doesnt slip for a single track. Brilliant.
This has such a nice flow with out ever being boring...I loved it at the first hearing and it keeps hooking me on deeper levels even as I enjoyed the last level...It's like a winding road that keeps unfolding interesting views. I'm glad I bought it.
I like Bruce Springsteen and I thought I'd try out his new CD. I Thought I'd look on Ebay Half .Com and I found it for much less than I would have payed in a Music Store. I shop here first because I pay alot less and the quality of the product is great
His best album in years-not a bad song on it. If CD's could be worn out, I might do so soon. Thank goodness for my iPod. Reminds me of some of his earlier albums, but this is definitely all new material.
It's Bruce, so how much of a critic could I be? I find the songs sounding a little too much alike. It seems to me that each song has pretty much the same beat, tempo and overall rythym. I also believe that Bruce's voice gets lost in the music, specifically the guitar a bit. I would like it a lot more if there were one or two songs where the band broke off in an instramental abyss. It does not happen! I would also enjoy it more if Bruce had a few true ballets. Outside of a few songs, they seem to me to be fairly shallow in meaning. Bruce and the Band have certainly done better. The overall sound quality seems a bit off. Where was it recorded??? Oh well, it's still Bruce nad that's all that matters...
I love this CD because it is new and fresh Springstein. I know I ordered during a busy holiday time, but I think it should have been both mailed and received sooner.
fast delivery....needed for xmas gift...don't like to shop other than ebay... description was correction...came factory sealed...everything exactly as described...
Looking to add to my music collection, but not wanting to add to the coffers of the music company. Same CD at the mall $5.00 more. Why shop anywhere else.
I am huge Bruce fan- and this is his newest c.d. - seeing it on E-Bay allowed me to purchase it and get it home without running to the store! I work 2 jobs, and have a family as well as being a grandma-, so I need some Bruce in my car as often as possible.
I'll go out on a limb and call it Bruce's' best since "Born To Run". He takes us on a journey back to the boardwalk with "Girls In Thier Summer Clothes" and "I'll Work For Your Love", to the battlefields with "Gypsy Biker", and "Last To Die", and back to the highways of doubt with "Magic", "Radio Nowhere", and "Livin' In The Future". I find that the more I listen to it, the more I take from it.
This is his best album since NEBRASKA - Buy this and be happy!
Bruce is one of the few men presently willing to speak out again the government. He is brave and should be embraced for his courage. In this time of McCarthy-isms and fascism lurking behind every courner, the only true Americans are the ones willing to speak out.
THE BEST CD THE BOSS HAS MADE IN THE LAST 10 YEARS!!! I DEFINITE CD TO GO PLATINUM. There isn't a song on the CD that I would consider bad. All of the songs are a pleasure to listen to. A must buy for the Springsteen fan.
This album does not disappoint Springsteen fans. Very moody, and ambiguous at times, but full of the old E-Street sound, and very reminiscent of their earlier work (The River, Darkness). Not one bad song on this album at all. Though I liked the Rising album better, this is truly some of the best work he's done in the last 10 years. Don't hesitate - BUY IT!
