Love You Forever by Robert Munsch, Sheila McGraw (1986)

I love this book. I someone who had a baby boy and thought she would appreciate it - which she did.

I know that book it is my most favorite childrens book ever, I'd lost my copy and wanted to replace it, it had been a gift from a friend, I cried when I read it, as did everyone I shared it with.

I love this book. Every time I read it to my kids, I cry. I just bought another copy for my friend who recently had a baby. Great book.

"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living, My baby you'll be." is a sweet, heart felt song of every mother for her child at his every age and as she ages. Simply written with humor and wonderfully illustrated! I bought it to send to my first grandson!

We had borrowed this book from the library a while ago. I decided this was one we needed for our personal library. This book made me cry when I first read it, and I choke up everytime even now. It may not make you cry, but it is a beautiful story about the depth and timelessness of a mother's love. It goes through a child growing up and the unconditional never-ending love of a mother for her son. At the end it is the legacy and impact on her son that she leaves behind, in the circle of life. This story emphasizes to children that no matter what they do they will always have their mother and her love...no matter how old they are. It is well written and easy to understand for kids. My 5 year old actually memorized the entire book when we had borrowed it from the library because she had me read it so many times. She read it to me after a week. It touched her as well, and the rhythm of the words is just amazing. I think everyone needs this book for their child. It is my all time favorite and I know that I and my children will read this and treasure it for many many years to come.

It is an excellent book for mother and child. Though there may be stress filled days raising a child, when they finally sleep it is like all hardship of the day disappears and an angel they become. It is a wonderful book.

This book was referred to me by a friend with a son. She'd been telling me about this book for years and I thought it was very nice and that was it...until I had my baby son 2 months ago. I've begun reading to him so I thought I'd buy this book. The moment we got it out of the mailbox I opened the package and began reading it to him. He was every interested in the pictures and I the story. This book is so heart warming & personal, I'm going to dedicate this book to my son and read it aloud for years to come; then I'll pass it along to him to read to his child(ren)(I'm a teacher). It describes the undeniable bond between a mother and her son. It puts into words all that I feel for my son. I highly recommend this book!

To me this is the best children's book.. The first time i ever read it was to my then 1 year old daughter and it made me cry.. i searched for a long time everywhere for this book and i just happen to stumble upon here on ebay.. i jumped at the chance to buy it, for me and my kids.. this story will touch you no matter what age you are..

I love it. I was told that this a very good book--a favorite of many. It truly is such a sweet book. I could barely get through it without bawling my eyes out. The story is about a woman and her son. He grows up, and she continues to sing his song. At the end, he sings the song to her. It's beautiful. I will buy this book for all of the mommies I know!

I loved this story. Actually my daughter had hugged me and said, "mom, I will love you forever, I will like you for always, as long as I am living my mommy you'll be." I said to her, "Becca that is so sweet". She told me she remembered it from a story the teacher had read to her classroom. She told me the title of the book and the authors name, so of course ebay here I come. ( I always search ebay first)I found it, bought it, read it, and loved it. So YES I do recommend this very sweet story to parents and children, and I would say of all ages. Excellent.

I bought this book as a gift to my boys for Valentine's day(3 and 5 years old) and bought more to give as gifts to new mothers of baby boys. The price was outstanding for these books--shipment was fast and transaction easy.

I read this to my kids when they where young, now they are reading it to there kids. It is a heart warming story, of the Love a mother has for her son. It doesn't change even when they have grow up it lasts a life time.

When I received these book they came to me in very poor condition. They had stains, one had a rip, and both and bends/creases on the cover and pages of the books. I was very disappointed when i received them. I would not recommend to buy items from this seller
