Like most of Trulove's offerings, "Living Big in Small Apartments" is a book you buy for the photography. The theme here is creative, tasteful use of small - often studio - apartment spaces. The flavor is decidedly urban and architectural. Some floor plans are provided, though no dimensions or materials lists that would be expected in a how-to book. "Living Big" is merely - and clearly - a showcase, for inspiration only.

Eighteen apartments are illustrated, with more photos than words. Often as not, the photos capture the essence of the space or a beautiful detail. You are left to fill in the remaining blanks with your imagination.

But, of course, the idea here is not for anyone to recreate these spaces, detail-for-detail. The idea is to get your creative juices flowing... or just indulge your appreciation of beautiful design.
