This is my favorite series EVER! I never get tired of watching it. This is the full length movie that started the series. It goes through the trials and tribulations of the Ingalls family tring to find a place to settle. The acting is excellent unlike some pilots where it is clear that the actors have not yet gotten into their roles or personalities of the charactors. Michael Landon is awesome as usual. What a beautiful man he was and his goodness and decency shows throughout this whole series. If you love Little House then you will want to see this movie and see how it all started.

I have always liked the Little House series, and had collected all 9 seasons. So I was very happy to purchase the Pilot DVD, as it is a great addition to my DVD collection!!

Must See for LHOTP LoversThis movie is a must for lovers of the series, as it provides the story leading up to the 1st episode of the series. It was well worth the purchase.

For those of you who remember the Little House books, this show is for you. For those of you who never read the Little House books, this show is a good place to start because then you can watch the show then go back and read the books. You will not be disappointed. Great family entertainment.
