One can't miss the symbolic nature of this flick. When the movie's hero discovers he doesn't have long to live, he reaches out to repair the damaged relationship. Through building a house with his son, love wins out, creating a greater meaning for all involved. Highly Recommended.

I loved the movie because it showed a family coming together to build the dream house. It was just good all around. I decided to buy it because my neighbor had told me it was a good movie and thought I would like it. She said it would probably be hard to find in stores. It sounded good to me so I bought it.

I LOVED this movie. it's about the coming together of a father & son while they build a house together. Men & Women will love this movie, but watch out it's a tear jerker. EXCELLENT actors & actresses, people you will reconize. I can't say enough good about this movie . The title is a analogy of LIFE. GET IT, SEE IT & PASS IT ON TO BE SHARED.

I purchased this movie in early may and still have not received it. It was sent out but i had moved and was returned undeliverable. I immediately emailed my new address, but still have not received this. I wouldn't mind this situation if the seller would communicate regarding the status of this shipment. After all they were paid for the purchase in early may. Thankfully this item did not cost a lot of money or I would be furious by this point. I've emailed again asking if I am still going to receive the DVD.

I bought this DVD because it is a family favorite and our copy was no longer good due to excessive viewing. Although we have not seen the movie in a couple years my teenage kids and I are really looking forward to watching it again and are hoping we receive it sooner than later. Even with the mix up in shipping I don't believe this should be taking over a month now.

This movie is really awesome particularly because the characters are interesting and complex. I love it. My dad really loved it too, so you may concider watching it with your dad or mom, or buying it for them as a present. It is funny and cute, but also a tear jerker. I recommend this movie. Kevin Kline and Hayden Christensen do great jobs in this film. The few bonus features are also nice to have. I highly recommend this movie!!!

Inspirational movie, great acting, great screenplay. Hayden and Kevin are amazing. I saw this a long time ago and remembered how much I liked it so I bought it for my husband.

My daughter and I love this movie. Its a great feel good movie. Reminds you about whats important in life. One of kevin Klines best performances. Fun to see other young stars too.Hard to find anywhere but ebay and I looked everywhere.

This movie is close to what the title says. It shows how life is based on having strong "foundations" and when you do have strong foundations, family becomes just that a family.
Highly suggest taking time to watch this, will make your top movie list to watch and watch.

I've seen this movie in the past and just fell in love with it. I wanted to add it to my own movie library as it is one of those movies I can watch over and over again and take away a new life learned experience. A must have for every movie enthusiast.

I loved the relationship that father and son were able to have towards the end. Although I never received the movie I wanted to have it for my collection.
