Lewis Black: Red, White & Screwed (2006, DVD)

I never got this because the seller was taken off from ebay. I am a little nervous about buying again because this was not the first bad experiance I had with a seller. Even though either myself or ebay got it corrected it tends to leave a bad impression.

Holy F*ck! If that offends, do NOT purchase! But man, if you like finely tuned political comedy that reaches into all aspects of the modern political circus, you MUST buy this DVD. It is uncut, unedited, and unapologetic about the state of our country and our lives in general and points the finger squarely where it belongs - at everyone. If you want to laugh and feel smart at the same time, maybe even learn something new, it is time to get your hands on everything Lewis Black has to offer. Especially this one!

Adult entertainment. An amusing look at topics of interest. What cracks me up, is his way of emphasing through facial gestures, points he wants to make. His expressions say almost as much as the words he uses to drive home the points he wants to make. Recommended viewing.

Mr Black makes looking at life a little more interesting! Makes me laugh even when I feel down! If you get a chance to see him in person, go!

Lewis Black is a genius. There are no over-the-line jokes with excess cursing. The stuff he talks about is just so funny and true, and it's also the way he does it. Great buy/must-have for the comedy lover.

What a con. a big rip-off. Seems Lewis's "jeweyness" his term, not mine, has gotten to him, he's now just a tired old man. Lewis, get your act together, if you can, I want the Lewis quick one-liners of the past. If not, just retire.

Lewis, there are a bunch of old fa*ts doing comedy, you can too, at 60 you're not over the hill yet, are you?

Lewis Black is at his best when he goes where others are afraid to go.

When he completely destroys those idiots who believe that DInosaurs and Men coexisted in some Playskool fairyland from 2000 years ago, I nearly lost it. I had been wondering if anyone was as mad at this nonsense as I was. Andwer: He's more mad!

He does a good job of pretty much tearing all politicians apart, but that isn't too hard, now is it?

The religion bashing is razor sharp, and he has undoubtedly received much hatemail, which only serves to further prove that his anger is righteous....and GD funny!

I ordered the item and waited over a month for it to arrive. Unfortunetly, the dvd never arrived so I emailed the company and received a generic email informing them that according to their records, my dvd should have arrived and they invited me to keep shopping with them! I will not be purchasing anything from this ebay store again.

CHEAPER THAN IN THE STORE AND THE SELLER HAD AN EXCELLENT RATING. IT IS HILARIOUS AND IN PERFECT CONDITION.

I love lewis blacks stand-up routines, but this disc was like a light or watered-down version of him. He looked as though he was bored or distracted. He just seemed to be bored with it all. He lacked his famous biting style of comedy. It was a great dissapointment to me.

As a big fan I found this to be boring and a real disappointment. 30 minutes into it I realized my wife and I had not even chuckled. Had to watch it in 2 parts as I could keep attention on the show. Balck stays on topic wwwaaayyyy to long to where it's just not funny and becomes monotonous. Hate to see a guy with talent rattle off this poor constructed stuff. I love the rant and rave of Lewis Black but this time he came off like an old guy with just a "crud-on" for life.
