My second daughter was reading on her own to her sister, her first word she read on her own, xerox. I was so excited that I cried. Hope that you have the same kind of experiance with your children.
this movie was great. my children love it. we have the letter factory, and thihs word factory was great! it really helps them learn their letters., and the sounds of the letters that turn into words.
These Leapfrog DVDs are great! My 2 year old twins absolutely love these DVDs. We started with the Letter Factory and within a few weeks, they knew all of their letters and the corresponding sounds. We just started watching the Talking Words Factory and they are starting to get the idea of "pushing" letters together. I give these an A+ for sure!
My 5 year old son is struggling in phonics. This video (and all the other leapfrog videos) is excellent for any child in kindergarden or first grade. The things he really remembers (letter sounds, etc) are from watching these videos. We have bought all of them recently. The story lines are great and the kids hardly realize that they are learning something. Highly recommend for anyone!!
The Leap Frog Video ( Talking Words Factory Video ) Is great, my 4yr old loves to watch it and she is learning at the same time, something you would want you child to watch instead of just plain cartoons.
Helps kids understand that letter sounds combine to form words.I use it in my classroom to reinforce phonics. Kids love it and sing along. All of the other teachers borrow it.
My three year old loves this series of videos and this one is at the top of the list. She is well on her way of learning to read with the help of this video.
The first time my daughter who is 4 watched this she knew how to spell 5 different things. This video captures their attention and holds it. I cannot say enough good things about this video.
I can't say enough good things about this DVD. My friend recommended it after purchasing it for her kids. My kids enjoy watching it and they are learning so much from it. My three-year-old is already making letter sounds and is becoming familiar with sounding out words. The story is interesting for the kids and keeps them entertained, all while teaching them fundemental skills.
My boys (ages 5 and 3) are both benefitting from this tape. The tape is reinforcing what my older son is learning in Kindergarten and my preschooler is learning as well.
In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this tape. The story and songs teach letter sounds, vowels, etc. and it the lessons really stick with kids. I am going to purchase more of the LeapFrog DVDs because of the success I have had with this specific tape.
Someone gave me the Letter Factory and my 4 yr old son quickly learned all the phonetic sounds of all the letters (watching it over andd over again) When I discovered this sequal, I jumped on ebay to find it and was so excited when I knew it was on its way. This one is just as great. It teaches how to combine the phonetic sounds he learned and "squish" them together to make words. My boy will be 5 this month and he is learning to read small, simple words without having gone to preschool. I am a huge fan of all LeapFrog products.
My kids love this DVD and the others from the Leapfrog series. My 3 yr old has learned all his letters and the sounds they make mostly from watching this DVD. It is a fun way for them to learn basic skills for reading and spelling-best thing is that they are excited to watch it and want to watch it again and again! I highly recommend this DVD. Also check out Math Circus-another favorite from Leapfrog that my kids love and they have learned letters, counting, addition and subtraction.
This is a great learning tool for kids and a great compliment to The Letter Factory. I highly recommend this product. My children watch it over and over.
As a Kindergarten teacher, I highly recommend this video. The characters, songs, and visuals are great for learning letters, sounds, and how to blend them together to create words. LeapFrog videos have an amazing ability to teach young minds. My students and children love all of their videos, and I do too!
I bought this for my daughter who is 5 years old. She is learning to read and needs a fun way to learn. She really enjoys these DVD's and it is helping grealty. This DVD is a great way to learn while watching a video and it helps make learning fun! I highly recomend it and I would even start earlier with this DVD.
This dvd is meant for preschoolers who have some knowledge of the alphabet and letter sounds as are introduced in the Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD. It is a very colorful cartoon which introduces children to the idea of combinbing letters and sounds to make words. I bought it for my 4 year old grandson after he had watched Letter Factory and was very successful in reproducing the sounds and recognizing the letters. He was very quick to learn to combine them to make words. Characters in the movie are cute and funny and he has watched it over and over. I am very satisfied with both the Letter Factory and the Word Factory and would recommend them highly to parents and grandparents of preschoolers. Martha Checkett crystalullaby
We purchased it for our 3 yr old who is having some issues forming words/sentences. The video has worked wonders in helping him with his pronounciation and grouping of letters/words. Definitely a must have video to insure children have the building blocks needed to have the vast vocabulary necessary for entering pre-k etc and performing well. :-)
Never Received Item! Seller will not respond to my emails. I have letter factory and it is great however I can't rate talking words factory because I haven't watched it. Check the sellers feedback before you bid!
We had purchased "LeapFrog: Talking Letters Factory" for our Grandson, as did his parents. We had started him on the "Baby Einstein" DVD's when he was two months old, so he is always receptive to new educational opportunities. I rate these LeapFrog DVD's right up there with "Baby Einstein". Not only did our Grandson repeatedly ask to watch them, he very quickly learned his alphabet (and the sounds) and is quickly on his way to putting the letters together into words. He is two years old. This product makes the learning such fun. He loves to watch Leap, Lilly and Tad and the music additionally adds to the learning experience. I believe the LeapFrog products are all valuable tools in the early childhood education experience.
I would add one thing though- it is on the confusion of the "Leap Pads". Several friends and family are flummoxed as to what pad to use, what programs go with which, etc. Maybe someone could pass this on to LeapFrog! I gave up and bought something else for my Grandson, so did my Sister-In-Law. My Daughter-In-Law just bought the desk-it did not require any extras.
