Now, I didn't purchase the set per se (after all, aren't we law students with limited funding?), but I did find some lots on e-bay that would comprise this set when put together (at a fraction of the cost). These flash cards are wonderful for helping get a concrete idea of the law. If you are not finished with your first term yet, you should know it is not enough to just memorize the law [battery is the intentional harmful or offensive contact with another or that an offer is a manifestation of a willingness to enter into a bargain], you must understand how to apply the law. These cards walk you through in sections and each section starts with a definition of the black letter law and then it tosses out some hypos on how the law applies. Remember, it's mostly exceptions to the law that are tested. These flash cards are wonderful. Now don't rely soley on them, use them in conjuntion with other supplements/study aids, but they will put the "icing on the cake" if you use them often. I study mine before I go to bed every night, helps keep things fresh. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE FIRST YEAR!!! But like I said, look around e-bay and see if you can find gently used auctions for the cards, you will save a lot of money!
