the Jack Black bit needs to go
It's hard to believe it's been a decade since the infamous late night talk show wars. You know, where Johnny Carson retired, Jay Leno became the permanent host of The Tonight Show, David Letterman got mad and went to CBS, and Conan O'Brien, a comedy writer whose credits included the Simpsons, took over the 12:35AM spot at NBC. The first couple of years for O'Brien were uncomfortable and well, not very good. It took him a while to find his stride as a talk show host and entertainer. However, thanks to great writing and a sort of "everyman" way about him, O'Brien soon became the only late night.
