Lady Antebellum - Lady Antebellum (CD)

I LOVE this c/d and group! I can't wait to see them live in concert! I love every song on this c/d! There are excellent harmonies--theses 3 can do no wrong!There is an new edge to their music! Take a listen and you'll be a fan too!

If all you have heard is their single, you are in for a definite treat once you listen to the whole CD. I ordinary do not listen to country music except for a few crossover oldies but =this album may begin to change my listening habits. All three of the members of Lady Antebellum have melodic and pleasing voices that blend and compliment their musicianship. In fact, when I first heard the single "Love Don't Live Here", I thought I was listening to a new Hootie and and the Blowfish single (the lead vocal has a definite Darius Ruckerish feel!). Being a Hootie fan, I had to hear more! To my astonishment and surprise, I had just discovered Lady Antebellum and immediately had to own the CD!

This is definitely a group to keep an eye on for I predict they will have a long and successful career! Now my friends are trying to get me into Toby Keith but one step at a time!

How about a first album coming from a new pop-country artist going straight into #4 spot at Billboard 200 in the week of release? Something out of this world? No...having a free single ("Love Don't Live Here") heavily promoted on iTunes Store (the second music retailer in the US, only behind Wal-Mart) for a week can do miracles these days. Until two or three weeks ago, Lady Antebellum could be anything to me except a music group.

Catchy lyrics, good singing and nice playing coming from this competent young trio are what it takes for them to deserve the attention they already got and hopefully much more. It's worth a try.
