LG VX5300 (Verizon Wireless)

I bought this phone to replace the despised Samsung a850 that the cellphone company foisted off on me. I work in an area where reception and transmission is difficult, and was tired of dropping calls. I couldn't find any reliable information for comparing one phone to another in this regard, so I chose a phone to match that of a co-worker who was happy with his cellphone performance.

I'm happy, too. This LG works much better than the Samsung, and the battery life is good. The radiation exposure is lower than that of the Samsung, but not really stellar. Information for that criterion was easy to find by typing Cellphone Radiation Chart into a search engine.

i've had this phone for two years and i've been impressed with the battery. only recently have i noticed that it doesn't last as long. i've had phones that i've had to replace the battery within the year. this phone has stood its share of abuse. i've dropped it several times on concrete and it just keeps going. would definitely buy another LG.

lg vx5300 a nice phone for the average person who wants to make calls with some helpful options such as...blue tooth, camera and easy to use at an economical price.

I love that it is small and has the "clamshell" design. There is no chance of accidentally dialing someone's number when the phone is in my pocket because it folds up nice and neat! I always know when people who are important to me are calling because I have a different ring tone programmed for each loved one. It's easy to download my favorite music, take a picture or talk on speakerphone. I do wish it had better ability to send larger text messages and slides. Overall, it is a great phone and the bluetooth compatibility make it simple to talk, drive or do things around the house while I chat away on my bluetooth earpiece! If you are looking for a phone that is pretty easy to use, this is it.

Well one problem with this phone is that after about a year and a half, your buttons start to die. im not very abusive to technology, and 2 of my friends with this model phone had the same problem. these phones tend to scratch very easy and wear shows very well. the screens on the inside and out both scratch easy, and there is no brightness setting, so it is constantly on high. makes a nice flashlight, but its way too intensive of a drain on the battery. the call quality is ok, and the voice recognition is decent. the camera on the phone is awful, not worth taking pictures with. All in all this phone is quite bad, but if you are in desperate need of a budget phone, this may do the trick for about a year.

I bought the LG VX5300 (Verizon Wireless) it came in good condition and is working as expected. The only minor thing I would mention would be to remove the preprogrammed numbers so that it is easy for the next person. Otherwise we are happy with the phone.

This item was perfectly described by the seller. The picture was accurate. We knew what we were buying and it arrived quickly and it matched the description exactly. We'll look this seller up the next time we want to replace a Verizon phone without extending our contract another 2 years.

Wonderful service and came quickly. It was exactly what we needed. Our daughters phone was unable to charge up the battery because one of her decorations got stuck in the charging place, so with this phone we are able to use it as a charger and now she has two batteries to use.Thanks so much

This phone has everything you need in a phone. It has color screen, many ringtones, ringback tones, speakerphone and camera. The only thing this phone don't have is EVDO. It is 1X only. It you are looking for a new phone find one that is 1x and EVDO you will get better reception.

beat alittle but works great. about 1/2 price of buying a replacement from verizon.......a good deal.

Great product--Exactly like the one I had gotten from Verizon and paid a lot more money for. Not only did the seller include the home charger but also the car charger. Excellent Product! Seller was prompt in delivery. Would most definitely purchase from them again. I had to take it to the Verizon Store to have it programmed; but it only took a couple minutes without a hitch.

Awesome phone. Bluetooth ready and has a camera. Easy to use and user friendly.I like that the key pad light can be shut off. Holds a charge for a very long time. This is the 2nd time I've bought the LG VX5300. The first phone I bought I used as a pre pay phone until I went on a regular Verizon plan. My husband didn't like the phone that Verizon gave us on our plan, the Motorola W315 so he activated the VX5300. I kept the W315 a few months and the battery won't keep a charge so I'm going back to a phone I know I will love... the VX5300.

MY HUSBAND KEEPS TEARING UP HIS PHONE, SO I HAD TO GET HIM ONE I THINK WILL WITHSTAND HIS USE.

The LG 5300 is a good phone for the price. Battery life is about 3-4 days---The Razor before this phone only lasted a day, no matter if I used the phone or not! Overall this is a good phone with many Get It Now features--more than is listed on the Verizon site for this phone. No, it does not have VCAST. You are able to send ringtones attached to pic messages and save as ringtones. It does have a camera which I only use for the phone itself. I don't try to get pictures off the phone, just like it to take pictures of my grandchildren for the phone wallpaper. The ringer is loud. when you send pic messages with ringtones attached, they are also loud. I know this model phone has had a lot of freezing problems in the past where you had to remove the battery, but so far, this has not happened to me. I think the phone software has been updated by now. Hope this review helps.

All cell phones are not created equal. All providers are the same...Glad to have your money just dont count on us for customer service. I have had the best luck with the LG VX5300 phone as far a quality reception & clarity. As most cell phones it is delicate and needs to be treated as such. I'm going to keep buying LG VX5300 phones till the network wont allow ot anymore.

I LOVE MY LG5300 cellphone with camera and bluetooth enable.I DONT have no dislikes about the LG5300.Everthing work fine. Ipurchase the LG5300 because of the price it abvetise for great deal.

I dropped my phone and it broke, so I needed and wanted an exact replacement. I got it, and am quite satisfied.
