LG LX5450 (ALLTEL Wireless)

This is one of Alltel's first picture phones. It takes nice pictures but if your going to use this cell to send a picture to your email and then print the resolution isn't very good for this purpose. The phone overall is a good working cell phone. It has voice activated dialing, picture capablities, sms,(text messaging) and a lot of other nice features. But Alltel doesn't sell this phone anymore. The good news is that it is GPS compatable. This means that according to the FCC you can still use this cell phone on the Alltel network. Older Alltel cell phones that don't have this feature are not able to be activated on the Alltel network. Overall I have owned the 5450 for over two years and its a good working cell phone. Alltel has several new phones coming out soon and they have all the bells and whistles as well. But Alltel will only activate Alltel phones. They will not activate other companies cell phones. So buyer beware. How you ask do I know these things? Because I do technical support for Alltel!

the phone was in good condition . i haven't used it yet. i bought it as a spare.i know it works good because i let a neighbor use it for awhile.thank you very much. sandikagirl

I bought this phone to replace one of the phones my kids use and use up.I shop regularly for used phones for this purpose and found this one cheap and bought it. Everything was as promised when I received it, but when I went to have it activated, everything worked but it would not send text messages,just receive them. Well if you have children you know this is not acceptable so I have it in storage and someone will use it eventually. I do not hold the seller responsible for this and will continue to buy used cell phones on Ebay, it is alot better than buying them new all the time to have the kids drop theirs in the lake!!!

I thought the product was just as described. I am delighted with the new phone. I is just what I wanted.

Brother broke his phone this was what they had said and didn't cost much. Was easy transaction. The phone worked just needed to be moved to are area. That would of been the only bad thing that and nho speaker phone. Other than that it was well.

I bought the LG LX5450 as a replacement cell phone after my son dropped my Nokia and wrecked the screen. We have one LG phone (AX5000) in the house already and really like that phone so we decided to go with another LG product.

The phone has very nice features. I like the simplicity of the menus.
The only problem I have experienced with this phone is that it seems to disconnect during telphone calls on its own. This would definitely be problematic if it was a primary phone, but since we use this basically for communication between myself and my husband and a few work calls (construction), it should not be too big of an issue.

Like new phone, but older model. This phone works great! Takes really good pictures. Would like to have had the owner's manual, so that I could learn all of its features. I am sure I will be able to get the info I need online anyway. Recommend if you need a replacement phone but you are in the middle of a contract.

I like the cell phone.I'm still learing how to use it. The auction ad said it
had speakerphone I have yet to find the right button to use the speakerphone.

I hesitated before I chose excellent simply because that means a lot. Everything on my new phone works perfectly. It is a bit bulkier than some of the newest slim phones, but I am a man with large hands and I prefer the feel of the5450 tp my previous dainty phone. I would easily chose this phone again if given the
opportunity.

when these phones were new I purchased four, they still work. My blind mother loves the voice dial and the large keys she can tell apart to dial. I wish Alltell still had this phone new but the new phones are too small and the battery life sucks. so I bought three more on ebay just incase some break or wear out. After all they are 4-5 years old.

really good phone. no troubles getting connected....the front was pretty scuffed up from wear. the camera is good. no problems.

dislike the fact that it doesn't have a belt clip and keeps switching its self back to vibrate only. needed a phone fast and it was reasonably priced

The phone I purchased did not work when I took it to the Alltel store to get hooked up. When I contacted the seller he said to send back and they would return my purchase price. They will not refund your huge shipping and handling amount. This to me is a scam. If they have everyone due this they will make a fortune. It does not cost anywhere near the amount they charge for shipping and handling. I am trying to get refund through paypal and still waiting for their review. If paypal does not stand behind this huge shipping and handling refund I am done with paypal and ebay. It is turning out to be nothing but scams. This seller will be making at least $10 to $15.00 profit from sending me a cell phone that does not work. Great for seller but bad for buy. All I can say is if paypal says they will not let your get scamed than I hope to be refunded my entire amount. Still upset from this purchase. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy I bought it from sent me a few emails stating the product had already shipped each one later than the other, this wouldn't be a problem but is was a gift for my children I get every other weekend and I would have got it in time if the first email stating the product had shipped was true, the product shipped a day or 2 later. I thought the shipping was fast but didn't like being lied to as to when it actually shipped, he should have just emailed when it actually shipped. The product was as promised and no problems.

I recently purchased an Alltel LX 5450 for my son to replace a phone his brother in law had spilled coffee on. He is very happy with all the features of the LX 5450 and has sent my wife and I some really nice pictures of our Grand daughter.
I would readily purchase another of this type for either of my other two son's should the need arise.
My son has thanked me many times for getting him his LX 5450 and is very happy to have the phone and is impressed with its many features.
Good phone at a reasonable price.

I wanted my son to have phone didn't want to pay that much. I was immmediately expressed with it. Over all. I've recommond the phone if your on abudget. We both are very very very HAPPY

It said that the phone was new.. It wasn't.. It had scratches on it and was packaged like it had never been open but obviously had been. Very dissapointed!!!

I bought it for the price and results from the brand of the phone.The phone wasen't the problem but the seller didn't list it as broken and I didn't try to activate until it was to late. The items I buy on Ebay are just as good as the sellers,some good and some bad.I have learned to check out the sellers more than the buyers,so buyers check them out.

I decided to buy this phone because the seller said that it was used very little and had to scratches, and it did look like new. What I dislike it is that I had to call an alltel rep and get this phone reprogramed because it would not text out or send or receive picture messages. The rep had to put me on a list for a prof. tech because she couldn't figure out what the problem was. But one the tech called me back 48 hours later he was able to fix the problem and it truley is like new in every wayu now. The battery life is short, but i can live with that. I bought it because my old cell phone was messing up and I couldn't hear in the ear piece. Would I buy it again? You Bet. I like having a camera phone. I really wanted an AX5000 but the bids were going way to high for me. This phone is an older model but do like it.

The phone works fine.... It still had a picture on it of the previous owner and was a little worn... but it works great and was a good buy.

I bought the phone and had troubles with the microphone and had to send it for repairs; after it was fixed ithas been a good replacement phone.
