The buying experienced of this product on ebay was easy and fast. I guess all you need is an account on paypal and you're ready to go. ebay, the #1 internet store of the internet.

I WILL NEVER BUY A CELL PHONE ON EBAY AGAIN.. THE SELLERS LIE ABOUT IT ACTUALLY BEING A PRE-PAID PHONE. OH YEAH, VERIZON OR WHOEVER CAN ACTIVATE IT AFTER SIX MONTHS OF USE AS A PRE-PAID.. SO IF YOU HAVE A CONTRACT NOT ONLY DON'T YOU HAVE A PHONE TO ADD YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BUY PHONE CARDS???????

OTHERS MAY HAVE LUCK, BUT THE SELLER I RAN INTO LIED AROUND EVERY CORNER.

Purchase was in MUCH better condition that the description and photos! Shipment was very fast, detailed instructions within the packaging on how to activate product, no hassle, worry free! Excellent EBAYER, will DEFINITELY do business with in the future!!!

The phone is durable. But it is extremely touchy. The answer button is too small and the end button is very small making it difficult to answer or hang up a conversation.
Mp3 player is great. Not alot of memory. Graphics could be better but they are the worst.

This seller first gave me a cellphone that did not have the right esn or the codes for verizon so I sent it back and then they sent me a new one with the same problem.

I bought this phone to replace the one I had lost . It has all the features that I wanted and came with extras .The quality of this phone was poor compared with the one I lost. It froze up ,wouldn't recieve incoming calls and came apart . I was able to take it the verizon dealer and had to get a new phone beuase they were unable to correct the many problems. I still love the look and features but would recommend researching to find a better made phone.

I bought four weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

I'm begining to see why some folks hesitate buying elelctronics on Ebay. Imagine this here's a phone price is great then when it arrives the battery is passed any life, won't hold a charge for anything, but you already left a Positive Feedback cause it did arrive in decent time and everything was as described at least by looks.
So now oyu have to order a battery, of course you emailed the seller about it and they just never address the issue. Hmm visually impared? Not likely..

So then you get a 'New' not 'Used battery' and well it sort of works, guess it must be a knock off of course you left a positive feedback cause it arrived really quick and the price was great, perhaps too great. (Remember the saying if it's too good to be true?)
So off you go on a business trip with your newly aquired bargain phone. You go to look up a number and of it goes dialing all on it's own, and I might add it's not the number you went to find. The phone either has a mind of it's own, or it's posessed or there is a problem.
But the seller didn't say that did they?!?
On the other end of the stick. There is re course.. Isn't there? Well yeah wake up and realise Ebay won't do a thing, and you just bought what the other fellow upgraded from and you got what ever the reason for upgrading was!
I'd stick to buying phones from reputable cell phone compnaies and not individuals though I'm sure there are individuals with great phones and great deals but it's Buyer Beware!

The phone was in good condition and shipping was fast.
Unfortunatlly I was unable to use the phone for its intended purchase. I originally bought it for my nephew, however when I call Verizon connect the phone it was on the lost/stolen list and I was unable to use. According to the seller the phone was not lost/stolen it was just locked. So I took it to a phone place to unlock it and I was told that it was not possible because the ESM was not in working condition and needed to be replaced with an new one and I would not be able to use through Verizon but can use through another carrier.

Nice working and compact phone. My son loves it. Works great and nice graphics. Music works nice also.

I love this phone because it works better than all my other phones. You can hear the person on the other side of the conversation and it is very awesome to have a touch pad, it works either slider up or down for a conversation and it is nice to be ahead of friends with technology for a few weeks anyway.

(WHY WOULD I TAKE A LOSS ON THIS?)(I PAID $72.95 W SHIPPING) PAYPAL HAS ASKED ME TO FILE A POLICE REPORT AND FAX IT TO THEM, WHICH I DID AND AM WAITING FOR A RESPONSE. I HAVE ALSO GOTTEN AN EMAIL FROM SOMEONE ELSE THAT HAS PURCHASED A PHONE FROM THIS PERSON WHICH WAS ALSO LISTED AS LOST OR STOLEN. THE SELLER SAID SHE DIDN'T KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE PHONE AND THATS WHY SHE WROTE NO RETURNS ON HER SALE. I THINK THIS MAY BE MAIL FRAUD SINCE SHE IS SHIPPING STOLEN PHONES IN THE MAIL ACROSS STATE LINES. I THINK THIS PERSON SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL ON EBAY.EBAY ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE A PLACE TO GET RIPPED OFF--I THOUGHT THEY WERE TRYING TO AVOID THIS KIND OF THING SO PEOPLE WOULD HAVE FAITH IN IT.

The phone looks sleek and is sensitive to the touch... which is nice. The port on the phone where the battery cable hooks in to charge the battery often comes loose and you won't be able to charge your battery. I had mine for less than three weeks and had to send it back to LG. Also, the clasp that holds the battery on the phone becomes loose and the battery keeps falling off. Not a great phone to buy, to be honest.

My 16 year old son loves this phone, it has everything he could want on a phone. We only buy LG phones as we feel they are a very high quality product that lasts a long time. We have had many other brands but always go back to LG.

I had seen the Chocolate advertising and a few people who had them and when my other phone got wet, I decided to replace it with the Chocolate. It has excellent reception and works very well. Something should have clicked when I noticed there were over 50 LG Chocolate VX8500 Verizon phones up for auction. It's a very nice looking phone, works well but in less than 1 week after receiving my phone it fell from the windowsill to the floor and shattered. I went to the Verizon store, where I thankfully am friends with someone that works there, and he replaced it for me (even tho I didn't purchase it from him) and told me this is very common for this phone. So if you buy one, keep it in a case ALL the time you are not talking on it.

I was so pleased with the superfast shipping. I was also pleasantly surprised that the condition was much better than the ad described. I expected some scratches and stuff based on the ad, but I could not find any. It is like brand new! Perfect and next time I need another cell phone, this is where I will buy it. I will completely trust this seller! You won't be let down!

I absolutely loved this phone, had I been able to get it activated. It had been found and then sold on ebay to me, the original owner reported it lost, so I was unable to get it activated. I will most definately buy an LG Chocolate again. The next time it will be either new or at least have been checked out to have an okay meid number...

I purchased a cell phone and that was supposed to be new and unopened. When the phone arrived it wasn't in a box so it had been opened. Also when I took the phone in to get it activated Verizon told me that the phone had been activated on a prepay account and that I have to wait six months until it can be activated on my account. When I contacted the seller all he said was that it was unopened and new and that he didn't know what verizon was talking about.

Very Disappointed.

I have only had the phone for about 5 weeks and now the ear piece speaker does not work. I did not expect this to happen with a fairly new phone.The one postive feedback I did have about this phone was that when the phone was working properly it did have a long battery life. I decided to purchase this phone because of the postive feedback I heard about it. Unfortunately, I received a defected phone.

the phone works perfectly only one problem. It is prepaid only and I called verizon before hand to ask if it could be used with a plan. they said yes over the phone but no once I brought it in.

What I like about this phone is that you can download music, ringtones, & ringback tones. What I love about this phone is the sleek & sexy look it has. The reason that I bought this phone was because I was looking for something that had it all & this is the phone for that. What I really dislike about this phone is sometimes the touch screen gets aggervating. Sometimes it'll do what you want & sometimes not..kinda like a mind of its' own.
