This is a nice phone for the money. I got it in a package deal from Cingular when I signed up. They reccomended it for clear calls and good reception in remote areas. It is really easy to use. I figured it out without looking at the instructions. It takes pictures that are not bad quality for a cell phone. The sound is good, not excellent. I am not sure if this is due to the phone or just bad connections in my neighborhood. The screen is bright and easy to read and the buttons are about medium sized. I work in a laboratory and it gets banged around. It has held up really well so far and has had no major troubles. It is not the fanciest or slimmest phone that has all the bells and whistles. If you want a good solid, basic phone, this is worth it.

If you just need a 'phone' to use as a 'phone' with a little texting on the side, this'll do the job. Great small size, good call quality in a durable little phone. LG doesn't make a bad phone and this does the job well. No real camera, but if you want to just send cute photo's to other phones, it works for that.
If there is a complaint, it's the dismal memory at 2.5 Mb. You won't be loading many personal ringtones or wallpapers.

I purchased this phone to see if I would like it before purchasing a newer one. I got the it quickly. The only problem is some of the keys stick sometimes. Other than that, I would recommend this one before spending a lot of money on a new one.

I bought this phone because it was advertised as being bluetooth enabled. Well it's not. But overall the phone is a decent phone. Pictures it takes are a little on the small side. Volume is very good on this phone. Seems to be pretty durable. For the price, was a good buy to use as a spare.

If you want a nice clamshell cell phone, to use as a phone. This is a very good choice.
No Camera, I have a Digital Camera, so adding it to a cell pnone, just not needed. I use my phone to talk with another phone.
I do not play games, Just answer calls. Great selection of ring tones available.

I decided to buy this cell phone, cause my husband dropped his in a mop bucket and AT&T wanted 210.00 to replace it, so I went on e-bay to find him a cheaper one. And sure enough, I found a LG CG225 for about 1/8th of what At&t wanted. It has everything, (including camera) except for bluetooth, but my husband don't use bluetooth anyway. I really love E-Bay and this phone too. It saved us about $160.00.

LG CG 225The display was a little weak and you can't use a bluetooth with this phone but, for the price it seems to be a good little flip phone. Since these are older phones now you probably would be better off with the CU400 or the CE 500. If you want a no frills good little phone, that has a camera then this is the phone for you. It does function well and does get a good signal.

It was a cingular cell phone with batteryI broke my phone and this one was to replace it. It works perfect, came with a battery and a second non working phone with an extra battery on that one also. I could buy it here, get a mess of extras and still pay less than a new phone. I would recommend ebay for most things. I have had good experiences on her. I always read the sellers feedback to make sure they are not shady and their items are quality. I've only had one bad experience and that was partially my fault. I am careful now and shop on ebay all the time.

I bought the LG CG225 about 8 weeks ago because our dog had destroyed my son's identical phone. Fortunately the SIM card was intact except for a slight tooth mark.
The AT& T store wanted $249 for a comparable phone since I had no insurance on the original phone.
It had been a good phone for a young person and I would recommend the phone if you're on a budget and it has enough basic features for a teenager.
