We bought this for our 5 yr old, he is a whiz at the x-box and loves lego as well. This game is perfect for the young gamers, it has all the action of star wars and all the excitement of lego rolled into one game. The main reason we bought this is because the Star Wars Battlefront game was too difficult for him, this game is really kid friendly. His favorite part is when someone is struck by a light saber because just like when playing with lego the bricks all fall apart. Our son was even happier when his Dad unlocked all of the other characters he was missing and he loves to be General Grievous. The graphics are pretty good, but kids really don't care about this. So to all the parents out there this game is a must for the young gamers.

Fun New Kind Of Star Wars GameThis is a fun game featuring the Star Wars Prequel trilogy characters and storylines. It is pretty cool how the environments and everything are made up of legos and how the legos interact with each other to build new things.

I purchased this Lego Star Wars video game for my son who is 7 years old. He enjoys action games but we were having trouble finding games that held his attention with an E (everyone) rating. This one is great! He plays it regularly and has not yet grown tired, even after three weeks. Even a pre-reader can figure this one out. A definite good choice for a younger action seeker!

I was looking for the LEGO Star Wars for my nephew. He loved the game and we were renting it all the time. I decided to look and see if I could buy a used one. I found one. Once I won the bidding, I received the game very quickly. The seller got it in the mail ASAP, and my nephew was playing the game within days of my buying it. It workes well and we have had no problems!

I played the Lego Star Wars II and loved it so much I bought the original. It's a fun game that different. I'm not much for action filled games, so this is the perfect combination of story, humor, action and just all around fun! It's easy to play and beat the levels, but then there are also additional challenges that leep the game fun, even after you have won the levels!

Lego Star WarsThis item was something my boys (5 and 6) had before but played it so much that they scratched it to the point it wasn't playable any more. They used their Christmas money to get this one and have been playing it for weeks now. Almost like they do with new games. This is a game that I also enjoy playing every now and then.

lego star wars the video game is awsome. the really fun thing about this game is all the extras kind of a way to cheat. you have to buy them although all our available unlike the second one where you have to earn them and then buy them. the extras include all different kinds of guns invicability minikit dector purple and many other extras. some help you cheat while others are just for fun. the other thing i like is having to find the canisiters. it is fun when you find them and when you find all ten you build a mini model of different star wars ships which you can look at any time when you go outside the diner. there are pleantly other cool features about this game you should check it out i think you will be glad you did. hope this helps.

I have a 4yr old son who seems to be like other young boys that enjoys the action/fighting style games. We took a gamble on purchasing this game, and it was a gamble that paid off really well. He could (if we let him) spend multiple hours upon hours playing this game, as the game isn't to overbearing for his gaming level. At first when I saw him playing it, I laughed because I am used to more blood/guts/gore games myself, but when you "kill" another one of the characthers it's like a Lego Man that just falls to small lego pieces.
He really enjoys it, and if you can get this game for under $10 on ebay it is definately worth the purchase.

I purchased this xbox game for my 5 1/2 year old. Some of his older friends and cousins have the Star Wars Lego 2 for xbox, but I was not thrilled that it is rated 10 years old and up. This first version is rated E for everyone and is perfect for him. He plays for as long as I'll let him. He has a blast acheiving higher levels, and "building" the Lego characters.

I bought this game for my 7 year old son based on ratings from other reviewers and the lack of realistic and gratuitous violence. The process of "killing" other characters is very cartoonish and results in the lego pieces breaking apart and slowly disappearing - more so in the fashion of building a character with real legos and breaking it apart. My son loves this game and it has been a great bonding time for us because we can play together. The controls are not complicated for adults or children and my son picked up on the various tasks/movements rather quickly. It is also cool because you can switch characters anytime you want during play to utilize their talents/tools/weapons to accomplish the mission. The other cool part is that it follows a storybook format and follows the movie sequence step by step as you unlock new chapters. I highly recommend this game - wish there were more like it!
