Kyocera Candid KX16

i contacted this seller and gave them plenty of time to get in touch with me involving the item that i purchased from them to let them know the phone they sold me was indeed a lemon and they had yet to contact me so i am leavin a negative feed back and indeed will be requesting my money back

This phone has experienced several technical problems. The are problems with the battery and the phone holding charge as well as the phone not picking up calls. You can call the phone one time and the call come through and other times the phone wont even ring.

I bought this phone because my cell phone broke and I just needed a cheap phone. I do not necessarily like this phone, however it gets most of the job done. The phone itself would be a nice phone if it was able to answer the call instead of hanging up on the caller when all I do is touch the phone, or sometimes look at it the wrong way while ringing. I constantly have to call people back (which SUX cuz USCELLULAR has FREE INCOMING) or wait for the caller to call again, which is rude.

Great little phone. I purchased it because I bought a razor. It was broke and I needed a phone cheap and quick. I paid $25 with shipping, got the phone and activated it. Now I've got my razor and I'm not sure I'll activate it because this phone is tough and works great. I go through alot of phones and I can tell this phone is quality. It may be out dated but if you need a backup phone you can go wrong with this one!

so far i like it real well an would buy another one when i need one also i like the pictures it takes an it is simple to use an that was what i was looking for because some phones that i have had it would take a genius to learn how to use them also it takes good pictures

Kyocera KX16- I found to be below todays standerds, battery life,camera and technologie in this phone. I my self had one and so has three of my friends and all of us have had the same problems.such as poor picture taking. Charging port eather not charging at all or charging the battry very little. we all have found out that there is two screws pertaining to the charging port that comes loose and prevents charging at all vor just allowing it to charge a little.a defect that a Cricket Tech told me a Cricket Crop store here in my town. Kyocera in my opinon has a long way to go in catching up in duribility and technologie. They are making strides to that with the VM9. keep it up Kyocera your get there.

I really like this phone. Have had it a couple years. Very user friendly and menus are easy to understand. More ringtones and notification options would be nice. Decent volume, but I would like it louder. Reception is good, and camera is easy to use and takes a decent pic. I have gone through 3 or 4 batteries though, which seams like alot. Talk time is only a couple hours which kind of stinks. Cannot change the faceplate. Easy and comfortable to hold.

Simple, easy to use phone. Pricing on these phones is amazing for the quality. Not filled with features, but has a camera and anything else you would need for basics.

This phone worked well for the first few months that I had it. Unfortunately, it stopped holding a charge and even when I keep it on the charger all night it still has an almost dead battery in the morning. My cousin and an uncle both have the same exact phone and theirs also won't hold a charge, so I'm guessing that it's a common problem for this style of phone.

Bought a pair of the KX16 phones from Alltel. Phones had different features from each other and reception was terrible. Now, Alltel won't exchange or get me another phone to try the reception out. Mayabe the phones are bad? Maybe they aren't? This aren't bad phones but have bad reception with them here. Average but buy a Motorola.

I liked how the seller described the phone. The starting bid and shipping was good.I got the phone for my grandson who is 14. he loves the phone the only thing he can't do with it is send picture's other then that for him it is great for the price.I would buy off that seller again.Very fast shipping also.

Photo feature doesn't work. Case won't stay together. Won't stay powered up. Hope others have better luck than me.....

I have this phone and I Love it. Camera quality is decent. You have the choice to zoom, crop, pan, and change the saturation [and hue, etc]. You can send your pics to your email address online and they come in decent. Speakerphone works great and is loud and clear. Comes with many additions like alarm clock, world clock, tip calculator, calculator, voice memo, flashlight...etc. It's like the best cell phone I have ever had!
