I had this printer for about 4 to 5 months now and it works great. I would recommend this printer to people that want a cheaper laser printer that works great.
The print quality is great, but if you plan on owning it for more than six months, look elsewhere. The drum needs to be replaced fairly often, and it is considerably more (try double) than buying a new printer. Hence, this item is really intended as a disposable printer it seems. It is also cheaply made. For the price, if you only use it a few times a month or get a good deal on it (under $90), I would consider it. But I've had two so far and there will not be a third.
I have this printer for about 4 years with no problem. I like it so much that I bought the same new printer at a very good price on eBay. Toner replacement takes about 15 seconds. I bought this brand because of it's reliability on all of their products.
This is an amazingly low cost printer that last for over three years now. The per page printing cost is a small fraction of inkjet and still much cheaper than other laser printers due to the refillable cartridge.
One previous reviewer complained about the drum life. I can tell you that drum will last tens of thousand of pages. However, dirty objects can stick to the drum if the pager is not clean. When this happens, you will see white patches in your printout. The fix is easy. You just need to pull out the drum/cartridge unit, and carefully examine the green drum surface to see anything on it. Remove any dirty/food crumbs/hair you may find there with a piece of paper towel. You should be able to restore the print quality again!
It is capable of printer envelops as well. But make sure that you select the "envelop" type in the printer driver options. This machine needs to told how to handle thicker paper.
I have bought over a dozen of these printers--some new, some used, all on eBay--for my office, home, my parents' home, etc. They are great, and they last a long time. In fact, not one has shown signs of aging. They are fast, short start-up times, the high-yield tonder lasts forever, and the price is usually between $50-80 after shipping. They are great for standard paper, envelopes, and shipping labels. And yes, we print a lot of labels! What more can you ask for?
I need a backup printer. This machine is not well built. Some run pretty well, some don't. The one I got from ebay is a used one, less than 1 year per previous owner. It only run for 2 months and paper cannot feed. I only print less than 5 pages a week... very diasppointed! Good thing about this printer is it is very compact and pretty fast (if it works...)
It is a very fast printer. No humming sound while in standby. I decided to buy it because I know konica minolta is a reliable company and I owned other products from them.
I have been using a number ( 5 ea at the same time ) of the 1350Ws in my CPA office for several years and it's prior slower model, the 1200, before that. Great printer!!! we use to print tax returns and financial statements so it's a heavy load Very fast and excellent quality. If you expect to use as we do you must learn how to beat it's "low toner " issues. A new tone cartridge will cost more that I pay for a new printer, but the cartridges are easily refilled and with a chip replacement it overcomes the low toner driver messages that so it down and drive you crazy..chips cost about $ 10 for a 6,000 page chip. Got to shop but has been well worth the trouble.
I found this printer is little bit cheaper compare with internet website. Plus I don’t have much time to do shopping and I need it like this type of printer I can use at home.
Great printer at this price for home user but I need more durable printers
I bought mine for $89 and it was generally fine till the page counter hit it's mark. To replace the toner only was $87. It might have worked fine after purchasing the toner, but why bother? I'm buying a used HP 4-plus. Speed a bit slower, weight a lot more, price much lower, and toner much cheaper.
I received what was advertised with no delays. It is a very good machine saving our small business quite a bit of money on printing. No complaints on the product or on who sold it to us.
good, excellent, Sleek, small, and affordable, the PagePro 1350W from Konica Minolta is a dedicated laser printer for professional and home-office use. It provides the convenience and privacy benefits only a personal printer can, with performance that matches many shared office printers. And its best-in-class quality makes printing memos, reports, and other business documents a stand-out affair.
Able to deliver up to 21 pages per minute, the PagePro 1350W outpaces printers in its class to keep pace with you. Get professional prints with true 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. It produces the same great quality printing on any of its supported media types, including plain paper, thick stock, envelopes, and labels. With "Plug and Play" USB and parallel interfaces, the PagePro 1350W is quick to set up and print from any Microsoft Windows application
I have it by 6 months. Is working ok for what I need.
Pro: - compact. - cheap. - working on LPT port. - print quality: OK for text. Not Good enough for graphics.
Con: - toner and Drum Unit with an electronic counter !!! - slow - home user class = OK. - the print driver monitor is very annoying... asking me to turn ON the printer or to add paper.I have to turn OFF that printer monitor.
Conclusion: Good for home user class. Don't ask to much from this cheap printer !
This is a beauty. Prints on totally heavy card stock with special setting. Awesome. To get a printer that prints on heavy card stock like this would normally cost a fortune. This is an excellent value. Just bought another one to use as a back up in my heavy stock printing for business.
Could not ask for a better printer. I bought several of these, they are great! I also called for support (not because anything was wrong with it, i just had some techie questions) and they were super friendly and helped me right away.
Begin This printer has been used for less than 6 months and was purchased by a friend of mine for our church office. Being a small congregation, this printer sees light use and at first glance this printer seemed to fit the bill. It is first small and compact taking up little more than a small ink jet space it weighs in at 17lbs with paper and peripherals. It has a sleek design and is easy on the eyes. Also as a bonus it supports Windows 98 which yes, my church office is still running. :( Of course if you have an newer OS like Windows 2000 or XP it supports those too. Nitty Gritty Stuff The...

Great Cheap Printer, but you need to work around some things.

Pros: Cheap, compact, great quality prints, fast. Can be easily networked once you learn how...
Cons: Work-around for networking disables status monitor. Sharp "plastic" smell. A paper drawer would be better.
I bought this printer yesterday to replace a 7 year old IBM laser printer that would no longer recognize that it had paper in it. Also, it was starting to streak the prints. So far I have to say that I really like the quality of the printouts and I do get pretty close to the speed they claim. I purchased this purely based upon price, and while I was at the store I had my brother on the phone looking up toner yields. They make a 6K page cartridge! I'm not sure what all of the complaining is about from some of the other reviewers regarding supply costs. KonicaMinolta's price for the 6K page...

Great, Cheap Laser

Pros: USB & Parallel support, fast, great text quality, EXCELLENT Tech Support
Cons: Poor photo quality, Power Flickers, Expensive Genuine Toner
I bought the Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W at Staples when it was on sale for 50$ from 180$. So far I am quite pleased with it. Supply price With the 3000-page cartridge it costs 2.6 cents to print a page for toner. (see update below) This is very good for a small laser. The drum has a yield of about 18000 pages at 100$, so it only costs about half a cent per page for the drum. I plan to buy a network laser when the drum kicks off though. It's not economical to buy the drum when I can buy a new printer with one and toner for 130. It will tell you in the driver how many pages have been printed..

Good Output...But Not For SOHO Users

Pros: 1200 DPI output in an a relatively inexpensive package, easy setup.
Cons: Incompatible with third party print servers, high toner costs.
I just purchased this printer as a replacement for a damaged HP Laserjet 1012. I needed a quick replacement and the price was right with an internet special from Office Max for $100. I received the unit two days after my online order. Setup is extremely easy taking only five or ten minutes at most to complete. The main setup includes removing shipping tape and foam bits as part of the packaging. The toner cartridge is already installed; it only requires you to remove it, shake it to distribute the toner and reinsert. The unit is fairly compact (about the size of a toaster oven). It includes...

Good printer, but it's toner is a scam.

Pros: Fast 21 ppm, initally cheap, dosen't jam much.
Cons: Annoying software, booby trapped printer that forces you to buy insanely overpriced toner.
Yeah this is a pretty good printer. It does a pretty good job doesn t jam much if you use regular paper, but it is a little on the loud side. I got it for $99 and was initially very happy. Now for the scam. The printer is set up to read a chip on the toner cartridge that says how many prints that the cartridge is good for. The printer then counts the number of pages printed and arbitrarily slows the printer down till you buy a new cartridge. The cartridge that comes with the printer is rated for 1500 pages at 5% page coverage. You can also buy 3000 and 6000 page cartridges. The only...
